Singular: usado para descrever uma unidade de substantivos contáveis e usado com
substantivos incontáveis.

Plural: usado para descrever duas ou mais unidades de substantivos contáveis.
• I have two books. = Eu tenho dois livros.
• He has lots of friends. = Ele tem muitos amigos.
Substantivos com plural regular são aqueles que seguem uma determinada regra para a
formação do plural.
• Para formar o plural da maioria das palavras em inglês, acrescentamos -s ao singular:
