Leitura nas férias: a importância do incentivo à prática no tempo livre
Incentivar os jovens a manterem o hábito da leitura durante as férias demanda
estratégias criativas. Os pais podem liderar pelo exemplo, dedicando tempo à
leitura e integrando visitas a livrarias ou bibliotecas como parte dos passeios das
férias. Já os educadores, por sua vez, podem incentivar os estudantes no fim do ano
letivo através da recomendação de livros uns aos outros, criando um senso de
comunidade e interesse mútuo.
A escolha dos livros é igualmente importante, pois leituras que não instigam, seja
pela temática ou pelo vocabulário, podem ter um impacto negativo na criação do
hábito. Obras alinhadas à faixa etária e aos interesses dos estudantes também
tornam a experiência mais atraente.
No caso das crianças, promover brincadeiras articuladas ao enredo dos livros é
uma ótima opção para criar laços afetivos e memórias inesquecíveis. Já para os
adolescentes, a leitura de obras que inspiraram filmes é, além de prazerosa, uma
oportunidade para o desenvolvimento do senso crítico e um incentivo a diferentes
experiências culturais individuais ou em grupo. [...]
Incentivar a leitura nas férias não é apenas uma questão de continuidade
educacional, mas também de entretenimento que perdura, ampliando horizontes e

Hi! My name is Samantha and I want to be a scientist. You may be wondering why
and my answer is simple. I am amazed at all the wonderful things like television,

But even though we don’t like the same things it’s still Science so we get along
just fine. In fact, our teachers help us better understand Math, technology, current
events and trends – all of which are important. We even help each other and have
lots of fun.
I like to experiment or take things apart to see how they work. No matter what I
do, I tell my mom or dad what I am going to be doing and sometimes even ask for
