Simple Past
- Forma afirmativa
Ex.: He dance well. (Presente simples)
He danced well yesterday. (Passado simples)
Ex.: She planned the trip. Ela planejou a viagem.
cvc
Ex.: John study very much.
John studied very much.
- No passado simples é natural usar as expressões abaixo:
Yesterday – ontem
Last week – semana passada
Last month – mês passado
Last year – ano passado
Days ago – dias atrás
Last Sunday – último domingo...
- Forma negativa
Para transformar a frase no passado simples na forma negativa, usa-se “did not ou didn’t” e o
verbo volta ao normal.
Ex.: Marie worked at party last night.
Marie didn’t work at party last night. Forma negativa
- Forma interrogativa
Ex.: They learned English well this bimonthly.
Did learn English well this bimonthly? Forma interrogativa
Yes, they learned.
