Un viaggio alla
scoperta dei Borghi
del Veneto
Borghi – Viaggio Italiano è l’iniziativa di valorizzazione di 1000 borghi, dall’entroterra alla costa, come luoghi del
turismo lento, dell’autenticità, della qualità di vita. Promossa nel 2017, dichiarato dal MIBACT “Anno dei Borghi”,
promuove a livello nazionale e internazionale, l’Italia dei piccoli paesi, ricchi di testimonianze del passato ed
ancora custodi della storia, tradizione ed identità del territorio. Località uniche, ma ancora poco conosciute,
dove l’ospite può riappropriarsi di una dimensione di viaggio a misura d’uomo, lontano dai percorsi turistici
convenzionali.
L’iniziativa, realizzata nell’ambito dei progetti interregionali di sviluppo turistico DPR 158/07, è attualmente
condivisa da 18 Regioni con capofila la Regione Emilia-Romagna insieme al MIBACT.

Borghi – Viaggio Italiano is an initiative to promote 1000 towns of Italy, some coastal, some inland, as places
offering slow tourism, authenticity and quality of life. Running throughout 2017 - declared “Year of Italian
Towns” by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism (MIBACT) - it aims to promote, both
within Italy and abroad, the small towns of Italy, rich in heritage and custodians of the history, traditions, and
identity of their region.
Unique but relatively undiscovered locations, where guests can once again enjoy the human dimension of travel,
far from the usual tourist destinations.
The initiative, created as part of the interregional tourism development project DPR 158/07, is promoted by 18
Regions of Italy headed by the Emilia-Romagna region, in collaboration with MIBACT.

“Borghi d’Italia”: i borghi che possono già vantare un impegno nella valorizzazione e promozione
turistica del proprio territorio, sviluppato in una logica di rete e collaborazione, e che privilegiano
percorsi comuni e momenti di condivisione con altre realtà.
“Hamlets of Italy”: the hamlets which can already boast an engagement in the valorization and
tourist promotion of their own territory, developed in a logic of network and cooperation, that
favour common routes and sharing moments with other realities.

“Borghi Storici Marinari”: i comuni che soddisfano precisi criteri, definiti in modo condiviso dalle
Regioni, basati su caratteristiche e valori relativi al tema della cultura del mare e della marineria
storica, anche in relazione alla possibilità di partecipare a partenariati nell’ambito del Mediterraneo.
“Maritime historical hamlets”: the municipalities which satisfy precise principles sharing by
the Regions. They must be based on characteristics and values relating to the theme of the sea
culture and of the historical marine, regarding the possibility to take part to partnership in the
Medterranean area.
