When we use:
Quando si usa:
✅Habits/Abitudini (I go to school every day/Vado a scuola ogni giorno.)

✅Fixed times/Orari fissi (The train leaves at 8/Il treno parte alle 8)

Form: Negative:

 🕒 Present Continuous
When we use it:
Quando si usa:
🕐 Action happening now/Azione che sta accadendo ora ( I am studying/ Sto studiando)
⏳ Temporary action/Azione temporanea ( I am working in Milan this week/ Sto lavorando a Milano questa settimana.)
Form: Negative:
✔️ am / is / are + verb + ing ✖️ am / is / are + not + verb + ing

Question:

 Present Simple vs Continuous

Abitudine

💡 “Every day/Ogni giorno” = Present Simple

💡 “Now/Ora” = Present Continuous

When we use it:

🕰️ Finished actions in the past/ Azioni concluse nel passato (I visited London last year/Ho visitato Londra l’anno scorso. 🏙️)
📅 With a time word (yesterday, last week)/Con un’espressione di tempo (ieri, la settimana scorsa)

When we use it:
Quando lo usiamo:

🔹 Interrupted by another action/Un’azione lunga interrotta da un’altra più bre
🔹 Two long actions together/Due azioni che stavano accadendo nello stesso momento nel passato.
