Intro

Il PARTY è un gruppo di guardie cittadine (soldati, investigatori, vigili) di Finefiume, una città costiera
attorno il delta di Fiume. Sono soliti vedersi alla taverna del Gufo Guardingo, come tanti loro colleghi.
Alla fine di una giornata come tante altre, mentre il sole tramonta, si ritrovano lì.

Parte 1 - La taverna del Gufo Guardingo


La Taverna del Gufo Guardingo è un luogo accogliente e tranquillo. Sopra l’ingresso, un’insegna di ferro
battuto rappresenta un gufo dal portamento vigile.
È il ritrovo di guardie, soldati e cacciatori, ma per questo è diventato anche ritrovo per mercanti e uomini
d’affari, che trovano l’ambiente relativamente sicuro anche per parlare d’affari, ed infine per lestofanti,
abbastanza furbi da cercare accordi e affari loschi stando attenti a non pestare mai i piedi. Qualche
volta, questi diventano poi validi informatori.
Il locandiere, un uomo corpulento di nome Brago, è un ex soldato che ha appeso l’armatura al chiodo e
ha aperto rifugio per i suoi vecchi compagni d’armi.
Il PARTY si ritrova alla fine di una giornata di lavoro alla taverna. Brando porta birre al tavolo. Chiede
come va, ma in realtà è lui che vuole parlare, lanciando occhiate al più furbo del tavolo .
C’è uno strano “cambio di guardia” nei lestofanti: alcuni nomi noti non si vedono da un po’, mentre
ragazzini sbarbatelli sono qui a cercare guai. Sono a un tavolo vicino, barando a carte a carte col Com-
missario Furio, che non si chiama così di nome.
Investigando, trovano un volto noto, Benito lo Spazzino, che tenta di nascondere il fatto che sia un po’
teso: in effetti l’aria è cambiata, e non è ben chiaro neanche a lui perché. Pensava fosse colpa degli
sbirri.
Dopo un po’ parte la rissa al tavolo delle carte, perché i ragazzini si sono fatti beccare con un poker di 5
assi. Il party può scegliere se partecipare o meno, ma soprattutto chi farsi amico. Il tempo di un paio di
schiaffi e sbam , la porta si apre!

2.1 L’attacco
La porta è stata spalancata da un avventuriero-senza-nome, che entra urlando aiuto. È leggermente
ferito, la spada ancora salda in mano, ma è terrorizzato. Chi riesce a dargli un’occhiata molto rapida,
capisce che è un avventuriero con qualche esperienza (livello simile al loro).
Ma subito, senza il tempo di poter parlare, una freccia gli trapassa il collo e questo stramazza a terra.
Poco dopo, si vede entrare uno SCHELETRO armato di arco. Si sentono finestre rompersi, urla e panico.
È cominciato l’attacco.
Sono presto circondati da 4 scheletri. Poi l’avventuriero si alza come Zombie. Poi, entra il Cavaliere
Nero. Cose simili succedono in altri punti della locanda, se si immischiano intenzionalmente incon-
trano alleati e altri nemici.

Parte 2 - La Notte dei Morti Viventi


Uscendo dalla locanda, il PARTY trova la città in preda al panico, con urla da ogni direzione. I cittadini
cercano di difendersi come possono dall’attacco improvviso. Riconoscono le campane dall’allarme
interne : dalle mura nessun suono. Opportunità:
• Andare alle mura, dove troveranno le guardie impegnate a cercare di aprire un passaggio verso
l’esterno perché i cittadini possano evacuare
• Andare verso quartieri abitativi, ad aiutare i cittadini intrappolati in case popolari
Informazioni da trovare:
• C’è chiaramente un necromante dietro, e alquanto vicino
• I primi scheletri e cavalieri neri sono venuti dall’interno della città
• Dove abita uno dei lestofanti più infami, che potrebbe saperne qualcosa
• L’avventuriero ha un biglietto addosso, con scritto “al tramonto, gira la chiave” con un simbolo
sotto
• Diverse guardie sono corse al forte-caserma per riorganizzarsi
• I chierici di Santa Clara potrebbero essere utili (sono bloccati anche loro)

3.1 Le fogne
Il party ha diversi modi di trovare l’ingresso verso le fogne:
• Indagando sui traffici dei lestofanti spariti: hanno aiuto l’aquisto del maniero, raccolto materiali,
diffuso i messaggi, alcuni sono diventati cavalieri neri
• Seguendo le tracce dell’avventuriero-senza-nome: l’ultimo malcapitato ha aperto la botola, e
poi è scappato via, fino alla locanda
• Aiutando la resistenza cittadina, finché non arrivano voci
L’attacco dei non morti viene da un ingresso verso putride fogne, al centro del mercato popolare. Queste
fogne sono un labirinto pieno di incroci e incontri con bestie: coccodrilli, ratti giganti e scheletri.
Seguendo la direzione da cui vengono gli scheletri, incontreranno un tunnel scavato verso il basso, che
passa sotto al fiume a ovest. Si avvicineranno al maniero del necromante, che si trova poco fuori la
città, a ovest.
Una volta prossimi ci saranno sempre meno bivi, e possono trovare uscite da cui vedere dove stanno
andando. Ci sono due opzioni:
• Portare l’attacco fino alla fonte, con il loro piccolo PARTY
• Arrivare a capire dov’è e tornare indietro, per poi fare un assalto coordinato
Altra opzione: indagando sui lestofanti, si può trovare direttamente una pista che porta al maniero fuori
le mura.

Parte 3 - Il maniero
Il maniero può essere affrontato come
• dungeon classico, con trappole da evitare per arrivare, in fondo combattimento contro il necro-
mante
• assedio con la torre!
