PHASE 5 : DRAIN
20

FASE 6 : RISCIACQUO
21
ENGLISH
PHASE 7 : DRYING
The last phase is drying. The fan (A), generates
an air flow passing through the armored
resistance (S). Hot and dry air touches the
instruments and dries them.
The appliance sucks fresh air from the slots in
the rear area of the cover panel and ejects hot
air from side slots on the lid.
Do not obstruct the air suction and vent slots.
During the 5 last minutes of the drying phase the 15 min
resistance turns off while the fan still operates to
allow for the cooling of the resistance and of the
instruments inside the tub.
At the end of the cycle the appliance sends out
three acoustic signals and displays the end of
cycle.
During the drying phase or when ventilation is ON, do not switch OFF the
appliance. In case of power cut off for any reason, immediately open the lid
to avoid any damage to the ventilation and to the appliance lid.

To prevent electrical hazards during control board maintenance, the device must be disconnected from its power supply entirely. Protective measures include using proper tools, handling internal cables gently to avoid damage, ensuring components like the membrane keypad are safely disconnected, and verifying the continuity of all connections post-reassembly to prevent short circuits or malfunctions. Such precautions are essential for technician safety and device integrity.
Proper management of water and detergent levels ensures optimal performance and efficiency in the cleaning device's operations. Insufficient water during loading phases can halt operations due to errors, such as ERR 012, while overloading detergent can lead to wastage or operational hindrance. Accurate level probes are essential for managing these measurements to avoid overflows and ensure consistent processing cycles.
The water loading phase's pressure, ideally between 2.5 bar and 5 bar, is critical for ensuring the cleaning device operates efficiently. Optimal pressure guarantees that the charge valve opens correctly and sufficient water flows to the nozzles, meeting the volume needed for the cleaning cycles. Insufficient pressure can result in inadequate water loading, triggering errors such as delayed cycles or sensor alerts (ERR 011) due to unmet expected water levels.
The technical menu plays a critical role in ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of the cleaning device by allowing users to check and enable specific device functions, such as the operation of the electric valve (EV) charge, which is essential for water loading and unloading phases . It provides access to monitor different components, such as water level in the tub, detergent tank level, and temperature measured by probes, which are necessary for troubleshooting and ensuring optimal operation . Ensuring continuity in wiring and the integrity of other components can be facilitated through the technical menu, aiding in diagnosing issues like blockages or sensor malfunctions . By entering the technical menu and activating or deactivating components like pumps and resistances, users can perform tests to verify the efficiency and functionality of these elements .
If there's an issue during the water loading phase, steps include: checking the overflow detector and sensor level wiring for continuity, ensuring the charge valve and its components are not blocked, verifying the water pressure is in the correct range (minimum 2 bar), inspecting the inlet filter, and examining the pressure in the water supply lines. Replacing the main control board may be necessary if the problem persists.
If the lid of the cleaning device opens unintentionally during a cycle, the device automatically stops to prevent spillage or damage. Upon closing the lid, the device resumes operation from where it was interrupted. Safety interlocks like these help prevent accidents, ensuring user safety and maintaining the integrity of the cleaning process.
The heating and degas phases are crucial in optimizing ultrasonic cleaning by increasing the efficiency of cleaning cycles. Heating the water helps achieve the necessary temperature to enhance detergent efficacy, while degassing removes dissolved gases in the liquid, preventing them from dampening the ultrasonic's cavitation effects, thereby maximizing the cleaning process. These phases can be set to operate simultaneously to conserve time and energy.
Ignoring installation and operational warnings, such as not using authorized personnel for modifications and reparations or failing to ensure the correct electrical setup, may lead to compromised safety, reliability, and performance of the MULTISTERIL device. Non-compliance risks the warranty and potentially voids responsibilities assumed by Tecno-Gaz S.p.A.
Incorrect maintenance, such as not cleaning filters or failing to check the continuity of cable connections, can drastically shorten the lifespan of a sterilization device. Accumulations and blockages may lead to operational failures, sensor inaccuracies, or component stress, resulting in increased repair needs and downtime. Proper maintenance ensures reliability, reduces wear and tear, and prolongs the device's effective life.
Filling the detergent tank while the device is off disables the level probe due to the lack of power. Consequently, the probe cannot notify the user when the tank reaches the maximum safe level, increasing the risk of overflow and potential damage or residue build-up in the detergent system. This could cause other operational errors and inefficiencies during subsequent cleaning cycles.
