EXCHANGING CURRENCY
You can exchange foreign currency or cash traveler's checks at the follow-
ing places: the American embassy, American consulates, money exchange oftices,
banks, airports, train stations, some hotels, and some travel agencies.
. The best exchange rates are obtained at the embassy or the consulates, and
large cities usual/y ofter better rates than smal/ towns, since the former do a
relatively greater amount of business. Currency exchange rates are usual/y better
than exchange rates for traveler's checks because the latter normal/y include a
handling charge. Low exchange rates are normal in hotels and in the better-known
tourist resort areas.

8. Words used to describe or qualify have forms that change according to their
referent. They usual/y have either four forms: -o (m. sg.), -a (f. sg.), -; ([Link].),
