1. Notice that verb forms like è ("it is or uis it

2. Time-telling expressions are:
Che ora è? What time is it?
È l'una. It's one o'clock.
Sono le ( + plural number). It's (+ plural number) o'clock.
È mezzogiorno. It's noon.
È mezzanotte. It's midnight.
3. Minutes following the hour are expressed by e + number of minutes. Thus:
Sono le sei e venti. It's twenty past six.

4. Minutes (up to 20) before the hour are expressed by meno + number of
