Sejarah Harmonic Scalpel
Harmonic scalpel (pisau bedah harmonik) diperkenalkan untuk pertama kali
pada tahun 1992. Pisau ini menggunakan energi ultrasonik untuk memotong dan
koagulasi jaringan lunak. Pisau ini mampu menghasilkan kerusakan termal
minimal pada jaringan di sekitarnya. Harmonic scalpel telah digunakan secara
luas dalam prosedur bedah umum seperti kolesistektomi, hemoroidektomi, dan
tiroidektomi; prosedur ginekologis seperti miomektomi; dan untuk memotong
arteri mamaria interna dalam pembedahan thorax.
Pengertian Harmonic Scalpel
.Harmonic Scalpel adalah alat yang digunakan untuk secara bersamaan
memotong dan membakar jaringan. Tidak seperti Bovie, harmonik
menggunakan ultrasonik getaran bukannya arus listrik untuk memotong dan
membakar jaringan. Sebuah pisau bedah harmonik (Harmonic scalpel) adalah
sebuah peralatan medis yang digunakan dalam prosedur pembedahan sebagai
pilihan untuk pisau bedah baja atau elektro-bedah diathermy.
Pengertian Harmonic
Scalpel
Harmonic Scalpel adalah alat yang digunakan
untuk secara bersamaan memotong dan
membakar jaringan. Tidak seperti Bovie,
harmonik menggunakan ultrasonik getaran
bukannya arus listrik untuk memotong dan
membakar jaringan. Sebuah pisau bedah
harmonik (Harmonic scalpel) adalah sebuah
peralatan medis yang digunakan dalam prosedur
pembedahan sebagai pilihan untuk pisau bedah
baja atau elektro-bedah diathermy.
Bagian – Bagian dan Fungsi Pada
Harmonic Scalpel
1. Generator, berfungsi untuk mengubah energi gerak
(mekanik) menjadi energi listrik (elektrik)
2. Power Button (tombol power), Berfungsi untuk
menghidupkan dan mematikan Generator
3. LCD, pada LCD ini terdapat beberapa mode, yaitu
batas maximal daya getar, batas minimal daya getar
dan mode reset yang mengembalikan kepengaturan
awal.
4. Cable 1, berfungsi untuk menghubungkan Pedal ke
Generator.
5. Pedal, terdiri dari 2 bagian yaitu yang kiri dan kanan.
Pedal kiri di gunakan untuk menurunkan daya
getaran, sedangkan yang kanan di gunakan untuk
menaikan daya getaran.
6. Button 1, berfungsi untuk menghidupkan dan mematikan Pedal.
7. Jaw (penjepit), berfungsi untuk menjepit.
8. Blade (pisau), berfungsi untuk memotong.
9. Button 2, di gunakan untuk menghidupkan dan mematikan Harmonic
Scaple.
10. Grip (pegangan), merupakan tempat untuk memegang alat.
11. Cable 2, berfungsi untuk menghubungkan Harmonic Scalpel dengan
Generator.

1) PLN berfungsi sebagai sumber tegangan
2) Generator berfungsi mengubah energi mekanik
menjadi energi listrik dengan memberikan
tegangan sebesar 110 volt
3) Foot Switch berfungsi mengatur naik turunnya
daya getar pada alat
4) Power supply berfungsi menyuplai tegangan.
5) ADC berfungsi mengubah sinyal analog menjadi
sinyal digital
6) MC merupakan otak utama yang berfungsi
mengendalikan rangkaian
7) LCD berfungsi menampilkan maximal dan
minimal daya getar pada alat
8) Front Panel Switch merupakan mode kontrol yang
berada pada LCD
9) Harmonic Scalpel berfungsi memotong jaringan
Prinsip Kerja Harmonic Scalpel
Energy listrik yang dihasilkan oleh generator
dan masuk kedalam bagian tangan. Cakram
keramik piezoelektrik mengubah energy
listrik menjadi gerakan mekanis ditransfer ke
poros, dimana ia diperkuat oleh mode
silicon. Pisau bedah itu sendiri memotong
melalui jaringan dengan bergetar secara
longitudinal pada kisaran 55.500 Hz yang di
kendalikan oleh footswitch,yang
memungkinkan pemisahan jaringan dengan
thermal transfer minimal.
Cara Pengoperasian Harmonic Scalpel
1. Sebelum menghidupkan harmonic scalpel bersihkan harmonic
scalpel dan bagian-bagiannya dari debu dan kotoran lainnya.
2. Pastikan bahwa semua accesories dalam kondisi baik dan telah
terpasang dengan baik.
3. Masukkan kabel power harmonic scalpel ke stop kontak listrik di
[Link] kabel power telah tertancap dengan mantap di
stop kontak.
4. Hidupkan harmonic scalpel dengan menekan tombol power
5. Atur max/min daya getar yang diinginkan dengan memilih mode
up/down pada LCD.
6. Jika daya getar telah diatur, harmonic scaple siap untuk
digunakan
7. Rapikan kembali harmonic scalpel beserta semua accecories.
Cara Perawaatan Harmonic Scalpel

Perawatan
a. Test performa otomatis setelah switch
power di on kan
b. Cek output tegangan
c. Pemeriksaan grounding
d. Pemeriksaan kebocoran
e. Pengujian performa semua tombol dan
lampu control pada unit
f. Pengecekan mode automatic start.
g. Pengecekan dilakukan minimal 6 bulan
sekali.
kalibrasi Harmonic Scalpel
Kalibrasi
1. Hidupkan generator ke Mode BME
2. Catat nilai ‘Current Setpoint’. Dengan spesifikasi, 75% dari nilai yang
tercatat.
3. Masukkan generator ke Status Ready BME dengan menekan tombol
‘STANDBY’ .
4. Pastikan ujung uji aktif dan tidak bersentuhan dengan apa pun selama
aktivasi.
5. Aktifkan di level 3 dengan menekan tombol “MIN” pada footswitch.
6. Terus aktifkan generator pada level 3 setidaknya selama 1 detik setelah tes
selesai.
7. Nonaktifkan bagian tangan dengan melepaskan footswitch atau hand
switching adapter buttons.
8. Masukkan generator ke dalam BME Standby State dengan menekan
tombol ‘STANDBY’.
9. Tekan tombol ‘TEST’ satu kali (hanya satu kali) untuk menerima nilai
arus kalibrasi.
10. Jika teks "Nilai Diterima!" berkedip maka prosedur kalibrasi berhasil.
