A. Standard Competence
Mengungkapkan makna dalam percakapan transaksional dan interpersonal lisan pendek
sederhana untuk berinteraksi dengan lingkungan sekitar.
B. Basic Competence
1.1 Merespon makna yang terdapat dalam percakapan transaksional (to get things done) dan
interpersonal (bersosialisasi) sederhana secara akurat, lancar, dan berterima untuk
berinteraksi dengan lingkungan sekitar yang melibatkan tindak tutur: meminta, memberi,
menolak jasa, meminta, memberi, menolak barang, mengakui, mengingkari fakta, dan
meminta dan memberi pendapat.
C. General Objectives
The students are able to mention name of the Days and Months.

The students are able to pronounce the utterance of admitting/denying.
The students are able to respond the uttarence of admitting/denying.
The students are able to discuss the uttarence of admitting/denying.

Pre-Activities
The teacher brainstorming the students by giving the several questions related to the
materi that will be given. It is about expressions of admitting/denying.
For example:
‘’well student, do you ever admit rafflesia is beautiful?
“What do you say if you want to admit it?
Whilst-Activity
The students are asked to watch a video about conversation of admitting/denying. Then
the teacher gives several questions related to the video that have already watched.

Explorasi
– Siswa mendengarkan secara seksama ungkapan yang disebutkan oleh guru.
– Siswa diminta guru untuk mengulangi ungkapan tersebut.
– Guru melihatkan gambar yang berisi tentang expression admitting/denying
– Siswa melengkapi dialog rumpang yang berisikan ungkapan expression admitting/denying
secara kelompok.
Elaborasi
– Siswa diminta untuk memahami ungkapan – ungkapan yang telah disebutkan oleh guru.
– Siswa dengan bimbingan guru bersama – sama untuk mendiskusikan isi gambar tentang
expression admitting/denying
– Siswa dan guru secara bersama mengulangi mengungkapkan ungkapan – ungkapan tertentu.
– Siswa dibagi dalam beberapa kelompok dan diminta untuk menampilkan dialog yang telah
dipelajari.
– Siswa bersama pasangannya menampilkan dialog yang telah dibuat didepan kelas

– Guru meminta siswa untuk memberi tanggapan mereka atas penampilan teman-

– Siswa mendapatkan feedback dari guru dan mereview ungkapan yang digunakan
untuk menyatakan unngkapan admitting/denying.
– Guru memberikan appresiasi atas pencapaian siswa
1. The students are asked to mention their birthday consist of day , date and month. Then
the teacher asks one or two of the students in the class to tell his/her birthday.
2. The teacher gives a table of friend’s birthday. In the table consists of name of friend,
place of birth, day of birth, date of birth and month of birth. And then the students are
asked to complete that table.

3. The students are asked to find the information by going aroud the class. To make they
easier to get the information, the teacher gives some questions to them to be answered.
For example :
a. Where were your born?
b. When were you born?
c. What month were you born?
4. The teacher command to find 5 (five) friends in their class.
5. The students are asked to interview their friends using the form above and also the
questions that told by teacher.
6. After the students fill the table of friend’s birthday, the students are asked to tell the work
that have done to their friends in the class.
Post-Activity
The students are asked by the teacher about what they learn today such as:
What do you learn today?
Do you have question?
The teacher concludes the materials that the students had learned.
