The 409 happens because the re-run never actually started. The run still shows attempt 1, so there's no second attempt for cancel or force-cancel to act on, and it may just sit at "Queued". The deploy for ef33a62 also ended as failed, so nothing is holding a lock. You don't need to clear it to deploy. Start a fresh build instead, either by pushing any commit to or by asking Pages to rebuild the latest commit: The Pages API docs say that works the same as pushing a commit. Your site is still serving the deploy from 2bd0946, so once the new run finishes it should pick up your latest changes. |

My GitHub Pages deployment is stuck in “Queued,” preventing my latest website changes from being published.
Repository: https://github.com/stitchesfb/sitio-web-amigo
Workflow run: https://github.com/stitchesfb/sitio-web-amigo/actions/runs/41668775060
Run ID: 41668775060
Workflow: pages build and deployment #11
Branch: claude/savewithflo-static-site-8llf1g
Commit: ef33a6254050cbd10a6c7f506b7c2f27784e453a
Website: https://savewithflo-gistics.com/
The initial attempt built successfully, but deployment timed out. A rerun is now stuck queued.
Both standard cancellation and force cancellation fail. This command:
gh api --method POST repos/stitchesfb/sitio-web-amigo/actions/runs/41668775060/force-cancel
returns HTTP 409:
“Cannot cancel a workflow re-run that has not yet queued.”
However, the Actions interface and run-list API both show the run as “Queued.”
Please investigate and clear the stuck rerun, including any associated deployment or concurrency lock, so I can deploy the latest commit.
The previous deployment succeeded. Custom-domain DNS checks pass and HTTPS is enabled.
