Hi GitHub Community Team & Moderators,

I am writing this post on behalf of my research labmate and colleague, Mahmoud Alyosify (@MahmoudAlyosify), whose account has been suspended for 15 days (since October 19, 2026). He is unable to post here himself due to the account suspension.

Mahmoud is an M.Sc. researcher in Artificial Intelligence at Queen's University. Our Master's graduation project deadline is imminent, and our entire research team is currently paralyzed because all of our active thesis codebases and private repositories are hosted under his suspended account.

Context & History:

• The account was flagged on October 19, 2026 (Ticket #4877243).
• He submitted clarification and subsequent tickets (#4897648 and #4913534).
• On October 27, he replied directly to support agent Ivy Callahan explaining that the automated flag was inadvertently triggered when he used an AI coding assistant (Claude) to push code fixes and address PR issues for his repositories.
• He has already disconnected all automated workflows, apologized for the unintended automated activity, and committed to strictly manual git operations moving forward.

It has now been a full week since his last response to Ivy Callahan, and 15 days overall, with zero resolution or updates from the Trust & Safety team. This prolonged outage is actively jeopardizing our academic degree and Master's graduation deadline.

Could a GitHub staff member or community moderator please help escalate Ticket #4913534 (and related tickets #4877243 / #4897648) to the Trust & Safety / Account Reinstatement team for urgent manual review?
