New GitHub Account Returns 404 When Signed Out #211374

Your profile is visible now, I just opened it while signed out and it loads fine (the API returns it too). New accounts sometimes get hidden for a little while by GitHub's spam checks, which is exactly what you saw: 404 for everyone else and "User not found" on transfers, while everything works when you're signed in. The repo owner should be able to do the transfer now. If it goes back to 404 at some point, that means the account got flagged again and only GitHub Support can clear it: https://support.github.com/request/landing |

I created a new GitHub account with a different username after unlinking my company email from my previous account.
My new profile works normally when I'm signed in, and I can access a private repository through its direct URL as a collaborator. However:
