If your account got flagged, only GitHub Support can fix that - there's nothing you can do from your end to unflag it. Go to https://support.github.com/ and open a ticket. Tell them your username and that you're getting flagged and can't authorize third-party apps. They usually respond within a day or two. One thing to check in the meantime: make sure you haven't got any suspicious activity on your account (weird repos, unknown SSH keys, etc). If someone else got into your account, that might be why it got flagged. |

on the day I submitted my ticket, the support team told me it needed manual review. It's been three weeks now, and I haven't received any reply. |

My organization has also been marked. I came here to seek help, but seeing that you haven't been unmarked yet, I feel like my hope is slim |

Since the account is flagged, OAuth authorization for third-party apps may remain blocked until GitHub reviews the account. In addition to contacting GitHub Support, I would also check: Settings → Password and authentication If anything suspicious appears, remove it and change the password before submitting the support request. When contacting Support, include: your GitHub username The restriction itself normally cannot be removed manually from account settings, so Support review is still required. |

Hello GitHub Community, I can sign in to my GitHub account, but I cannot authorize Netlify to access my repository. I receive this error: “This account is flagged, and therefore cannot authorize a third party application.” I need to connect to Netlify to deploy my personal website. I have tried different browsers and the official support pages, but I have not found a suitable way to submit this issue. Could someone please guide me on how to request a review of this restriction? Thank you. |
