Copilot in GitHub
Body
Hi everyone,
I was recently approved for the GitHub Student Developer Pack (my base plan has correctly updated to GitHub Pro). However, I am experiencing an issue where my GitHub Copilot is stuck on the standard "Copilot Free" tier instead of transitioning to the Student tier.
On my Copilot settings page, it shows that I have reached 100% of my chat message limit, along with the warning: "You've reached your free plan limit. Plan upgrades are temporarily unavailable." >
Because new sign-ups/upgrades are temporarily paused on the platform, the system seems to be preventing my approved student benefit from overriding the expired free tier automatically.
Has anyone else encountered this issue recently, or is there a way to force the system to sync the student entitlement?
(Note: I have already tried signing out and back into my IDE and github website, but the problem persists since the account billing page itself still shows "Copilot Free".)
Thank you in advance for any insights or help
