Switching from GitHub Copilot Education Student to Teacher #192810
🏷️ Discussion TypeQuestion 💬 Feature/Topic AreaRe-verification/Repeat Application Hi everyone,I am a PhD Student at the University of Tuebingen, and I am teaching classes, so I believe I would be eligible for the GitHub Copilot Education Plan for Teachers. However, i originally registered for the plan as a student (which was possible since I am a PhD student at the same time), since previously both plans offered the same benefits. I would now like to switch to the Plan for Teachers, however, I can currently not make a new application since I am already receiving the benefits of the student plan. How can I apply for the GitHub Copilot Education Plan for Teachers? (Or how can i drop my student benefits to be able to reapply as a teacher)? |

contact GitHub Education Support and ask them to remove the current student benefit or manually switch your account to teacher verification. |

I contacted GitHub Education Support and asked them to remove the current student benefit or manually switch my account to teacher verification. They did remove the student benefits and I was able to apply with the teacher verification afterwards. |
