This pull request updates the connection test logic for Anthropic, Cohere, and Mistral plugin services to use model listing endpoints instead of sending chat messages. This approach provides a more reliable and lightweight way to validate API keys and connections, and it also improves error handling for failed connections.
Connection validation improvements:
marketplace/plugins/anthropic/lib/index.ts: Changed the Anthropic connection test to call the/v1/modelsREST API directly (instead of sending a chat message) to validate the API key. Improved error handling to provide clearer error messages and details when the connection fails.marketplace/plugins/cohere/lib/index.ts: Updated the Cohere connection test to usecohere.models.listfor validation instead of sending a chat message.marketplace/plugins/mistral_ai/lib/index.ts: Modified the Mistral connection test to useclient.models.list()for validation, removing the need to send a chat completion request and simplifying the logic.
