UniPackage is an Android app for finding installed apps that have not been used recently and reviewing them before uninstalling them.
- Find inactive apps: Scans installed non-system apps, excluding UniPackage itself, and lists apps whose last recorded use is older than the selected time period. Apps with no recorded usage are included as well.
- Choose a scan period: Select 7, 15, 30, 90, 180, or 360 days. The default is 30 days, and the list is refreshed when the selected period changes.
- Review app details: Each result shows the app name, package name, and estimated storage used, including the app, its data, and its cache.
- Sort by last use: Results are ordered from the oldest recorded use to the newest; apps with no recorded use appear first.
- Uninstall with confirmation: Choose an app's Uninstall button, confirm the choice in UniPackage, then complete the uninstall through Android's system interface.
- Usage access permission guidance: The app explains that Usage Stats access is needed and provides a shortcut to Android's usage-access settings. It checks the permission again when you return to the app.
- Dark, green-themed interface: The app presents results in a scrollable list with a scanning indicator and an empty-results message when appropriate.
LegacyUniPackage is the Java version of UniPackage. It has a nearly identical user interface and supports Android 7.0 and later, making it suitable for older devices.
