[Link]. Principe de pose

. . .

membranes compatibles !

Template Help Notes Try to read me, really.
Using the template:
1. Insert a New Slide and Clic right on slide to choose correct layout type (chapter, default, photo, etc…)
2. USE this template TEXT LEVELS as they are predefined for a nice result.
You select down or up with this button

Can you use this template, even not from the section te-epc-lpc?
3. Yes of course, no problem on this point.
4. Simply remove the te-epc-lpc link in the View > Slide Master > Top slide and replace with your link.

Powerpoint guidelines
Rule: Try to avoid mixing text and image in the same slide.
Don’t be afraid of splitting a slide in two; One slide will be pure information (text) being given in a synthetic way, using bullets, the second one will be a
nice image (not a small picture nobody can see, lost in text people will not read, caught by the image attraction power

Powerpoint Expert corner

How to produce a optimum-size powerpoint (Mo), or how to extract a native image from a powerpoint (if automatic downsized option is not on)
1. If you have a [Link] (not a .pptx), save it as a [Link].
2. Copy and paste the [Link] somewhere in a folder.
3. Change the [Link] file extension in .zip, getting then a [Link] file.
4. Extract this file or open it directly.
5. Browse inside, up to ppt/media folder.
6. You will find all images being used (.png, .jpg, .emf….).
7. Sort them to find the largest (Mo); if inadequate size (too high resolution),
resize it (using gimp or equivalent), and replace them in your initial .ppt or .pptx.
8. That’s done.
Try to read me, really.
Adjust the correct resolution / size of your Powerpoint
How to produce a optimum-size powerpoint (Mo)
1. A native default powerpoint in format 16:9 – widescreen gets this size (19.05 cm = 7 inches) How to Change the image resolution settings
1. Go to Options / advanced / Image Size and Quality
2. Follow the tick cases and adjust the ppi resolution to be applied
to your image, when saving the ppt.

2. The “End terminal” possible resolutions are:

1. A HD video projector / screen max resolution – full screen = 1920 x 1080
pixels
2. A 4K video projector /screen max resolution – full screen = 3840 x 2160 pixels

3. Then, the recommended resolution to be applied to your image are:

1. Format 16/9 (widescreen) + HD = 144 ppi (1080 / 7.5inches) => 150 ppi
2. Format 16/9 (widescreen) + 4K = 288 ppi, (2160 / 7.5inches) => 330 ppi

Or, easier, select a 220 ppi, not that far from the optimum resolution in any case or almost.

Choose 220 ppi, largely OK with

Other said,
3. A Format 16/9 (widescreen) + 150 ppi displays* a max image: 2000 x 1050
4. A Format 16/9 (widescreen) + 220 ppi displays* a max image: 2933 x 1540
5. A Format 16/9 (widescreen) + 330 ppi displays* a max image: 4400 x 2310 HD, and almost fitting well 4K
* without downsampling it, when saving, and when using the max size of the slide.
Try to read me, really.
Adjust the correct resolution / size of your Powerpoint
How to produce a optimum-size powerpoint (Mo) Full screen
1. What is the cost of selecting a 220 ppi over 150 ppi?
image +
1. Let’s consider an image of 3840 x 2160 pixels of 2 658 KB 220 ppi
2. An empty pptx format 16:9 (widescreen) (13.33” x 7”) 0 029 KB
= 1 247 KB
Result:

3. A one-slide pptx, using the image at 100% of the slide surface (220 ppi) 1 247 KB Full screen
(The original image is downsampled by powerpoint to 2933 x 1650, exactly = 13.33”x7” x 220 ppp)
image +
4. A one-slide pptx, using the image at 100% of the slide surface (150 ppi) 300 KB 150 ppi
(The original image is downsampled by powerpoint to 2000 x 1050, exactly = 13.33”x7” x 150 ppp)
= 300 KB
5. Size of the displayed image on your slide matters!!!
A one-slide pptx, using the image at 25% of the slide surface (330 ppi) 287 KB
(The original image is downsampled by powerpoint to 1107 x 623, exactly = 1/4x (13.33”x7”) x 330 ppp)
25% size
6. Size of the displayed image on your slide matters … with resolution!!! image +
A one-slide pptx, using the image at 25% of the slide surface (220 ppi) 163 KB
(The original image is downsampled by powerpoint to 735 x 413, exactly = 1/4x (13.33”x7”) x 220 ppp) 330 ppi
2. And to conclude, powerpoint doesn’t give great results downsampling images… better do it
= 287 KB
yourself with Gimp or equivalent, and insert an image already at the correct size.

Decision process and context Insert > Header & Footer: Doc Ref/title/Author 24 sy-epc-lpc
21/11/2024

Ultimate Goal Find a strategy for the assembly of both R2E converters, regarding splitting or not the global work.

Context Decision must be taken before May-2016. We are already late.

People involved J. Chanois, R. Herrero, R. Bianchi, B. Favre, purchasing officer, B. Magnin, Frichot, gnagnagna...

Criteria were commonly agreed, at the exception of: sss, sss. It can be noticed that this criteria was removed since
Criteria too ambiguous. Also this criteria gnagnagna was removed since all possible options were equivalent.
Only 5 criteria were finally selected, other less critical.

The option of gngagna was not kept, since judged …It can be noticed that ….

Evaluation was performed by x and y and…. The result of the evaluation was shared inside R2E team, with

agreement from everybody.

Selection Final selection comes naturally, with only two real options to be considered. See next slide.
