ouvertes, nous devons aussi nous résoudre à revoir nos
films préférés sur nos écrans. Ces outils numériques nous
permettent de dépasser les obstacles et les frontières,
durant cette longue crise sanitaire.

UniFrance imagine d’autres manières de faire voyager le

cinéma français : MyFrenchFilmFestival propose à ses
festivaliers de découvrir des films qui ne voyageraient pas
forcément dans leurs pays.

Des courts et longs-métrages d’univers très divers, qui
existent à travers les regards de grands et de petits dans
des territoires lointains. Ces films éveillent curiosité et intérêt.
Les festivaliers investissent les réseaux sociaux pour discuter
des films, qu’ils évaluent également afin de décerner les
Prix du public.
Nous souhaitons cette année remercier Julie Caty qui a conçu le teaser animé et l’affiche de cette 11e
édition. Nous sommes fiers de vous offrir son tour du monde à travers un univers pop, punk et coloré.

Du 15 janvier au 15 février 2021, la 11e édition du festival vous offrira une belle sélection sur le site

I f there is one positive thing to be gained from the challenging year that 2020 has been, it is our ability
to adapt to digital tools. We talk and communicate via the Cloud, and in the absence of open movie
theaters, we must also reconcile ourselves to rewatching our favorite films on home screens. These digital
tools allow us to overcome obstacles and borders during this long health crisis.

UniFrance imagines other ways of making French cinema travel: MyFrenchFilmFestival offers its
festivalgoers the opportunity to discover films that would not necessarily travel to their own countries.

Short and feature-length films depict very different worlds, which exist through the eyes of young and
old in distant places. These films arouse viewers’ curiosity, their stories intrigue. Festivalgoers use social
networks to discuss the films, which they also evaluate in order to select the Audience Awards.

This year we would like to thank Julie Caty who designed the animated teaser and poster for the 11th
edition. We are proud to offer you her world tour through a pop, punk, and colorful universe.

From January 15 to February 15, 2021, the 11th edition of the festival will offer a terrific selection on the

 MYFRENCHFILMFESTIVAL
ENSEMBLE,
A vec plus de 12 millions de visionnages enregistrés l’année dernière à travers
200 territoires, et une édition spéciale « Stay Home » pendant le confinement,
MyFrenchFilmFestival est le premier festival de cinéma francophone entièrement en ligne. CONTINUONS DE PARTAGER
La 11e édition, qui se déroulera du 15 janvier au 15 février 2021, proposera à nouveau aux
internautes du monde entier 10 courts-métrages et 10 longs-métrages en compétition,
ainsi qu’une sélection de films présentés hors compétition, le tout sous-titré en 10 langues.
LES ÉMOTIONS DU CINÉMA
Comédies, romances, drames, documentaires, films d’animations, classiques, VR, courts-
métrages jeune public... tous les genres représentatifs de la diversité du cinéma francophone
seront à l’honneur.

Les courts-métrages seront gratuits dans le monde entier, et les longs-métrages

accessibles à l’unité pour 1,99 € (ou 7,99 € le pack). Le festival sera entièrement gratuit en
Afrique, Amérique latine, Corée du Sud, Asie du Sud-Est, Pologne, Roumanie et Russie/CEI.

Les internautes pourront retrouver les films de la sélection sur [Link],

mais aussi sur 60 plateformes de VàD qui relayeront le festival dans le monde entier, dont l’app
Apple TV (sur plus de 90 territoires), Google Play, Amazon Prime Video ou encore MUBI.

Plusieurs récompenses seront décernées à l’issue du festival : le Grand Prix du Jury, les Prix
du public et les Prix de la presse internationale. Parmi les précédents présidents du Jury
figurent Ira Sachs, Nicolas Winding Refn, Paolo Sorrentino, Michel Gondry, Pablo Trapero…

W ith more than 12 million film views across 200 territories last year, and a special “Stay
Home” edition during the lockdown, MyFrenchFilmFestival is the world’s first online
French-language film festival.

From January 15 to February 15, 2021, its 11th edition will once more offer to Internet users
worldwide 10 shorts and 10 feature films in competition, as well as several films out of
competition, all subtitled in 10 languages. Comedies, romances, dramas, documentaries,
animated films, classics, VR, short films for young audience... the selection will spotlight the
great diversity of French-language cinema.

Short films will be accessible for free worldwide, while feature films will be available on
demand for €1.99 (or €7.99 for a pack). The festival will be entirely free-of-charge in Africa,
Latin America, South Korea, Southeast Asia, Poland, Romania and Russia/CIS.

Actrice, scénariste et réalisatrice canadienne, Monia Chokri fait ses Réalisatrice franco-algérienne, Mounia Meddour réalise plusieurs
débuts au cinéma en 2007 sous la direction de Denys Arcand, dans documentaires avant d’écrire son premier long-métrage de fiction,
L’Âge des ténèbres. Elle tourne ensuite pour Xavier Dolan (Les Amours Papicha. Ode à la liberté et à la résistance des femmes en Algérie pendant
imaginaires et Laurence Anyways), Claire Simon (Gare du Nord), Morgan la décennie noire, le film est présenté à Un Certain Regard en 2019.

immersion, Odyssey 1.4.9 proposes to return to the heart of the film. A virtual reality experience
that goes beyond the invitation to travel, not only clarifying Kubrick’s monumental intentions, but also
revealing one of the keys to the work never before evoked.
