El sujeto "The children" (Los niños) es un sustantivo plural, que gramaticalmente equivale a "they"
(ellos).
Para los sujetos I, you, we, y they, el verbo en Presente Simple se usa en su forma base (infinitivo
sin "to").

Para formar el negativo en Presente Simple con sujetos en tercera persona del
singular (He, She, It, o "The baby"), se usa la siguiente estructura:
Sujeto+does not (doesn’t)+Verbo en forma base
Al usar "doesn't", el verbo principal (cry) vuelve a su forma base (sin la
-s o -es).
o Afirmativo: The baby cries.
o Negativo: The baby doesn’t cry.
You (need) to sleep more
You don´t need to sleep more
Para formar el negativo en Presente Simple con el sujeto "You", se usa la
siguiente estructura:
Sujeto+do not (don’t)+Verbo en forma base
El verbo principal (need) se mantiene en su forma base después del auxiliar
"don't".
Afirmativo: You need.
Negativo: You don’t need.
