I would like to complement the functions of the "information review" specialist. He must make a
CRITICAL review of the information, classifying the information sources, highlighting the
bibliography that offers us the most information on the subject, and ordering it heraldically from most
to least important, discarding irrelevant data and highlighting the most important information. In this
way, the most important references for the subject are prioritized.
Before selecting the material, its value must be evaluated. Research experts suggest that the following
four elements be used to evaluate and determine whether a source is acceptable or not:
1. Authenticity: Authenticity refers to the authorship of the text, being the first step that must be taken
in all documentary research. When consulting a text, it is necessary to investigate who its author is, if
he is an expert in the subject, if he has done other studies related to the subject and if it is true that the
source we are consulting is his or is a secondary source.
2. Credibility: Credibility refers to whether the document is accurate and truthful. This may depend on
several aspects, such as the author's point of view, whether he or she has been impartial or whether he
or she has consulted verifiable sources. Although truthful documents are the ones that should form the
basis of the research, those that are not true do not have to be completely discarded, since they can be
used to discuss the information that appears in them.
3. Representativeness: Representativeness refers to whether a selected document is relevant to the
objective of our study, and whether it helps us expand our knowledge regarding the subject studied.
4. Meaning: The meaning of the information sources refers to the content of the documents consulted,
in addition to their understanding and the evaluation of the information presented. When determining
the meaning of an information source, it must be determined whether the content of the text is adapted
to the historical context in which it was written.
What would be the ideal profile? Please include the name of the profile, its objective and the
background suitable for the position. Please respond in a comprehensive and complete manner.
To complement the functions of the "Information Review" specialist with a focus on the evaluation
criteria you provided, you could establish a position titled **Critical Information Review Specialist**.

critical assessment of all gathered information sources. This includes evaluating the authenticity,
credibility, representativeness, and meaning of the materials to ensure that the references used in the
research are of high quality and relevance. The specialist will prioritize the most significant sources,
thus enhancing the integrity and validity of the research findings.
### **Responsibilities**:
- Perform a critical review of all collected information sources, thoroughly evaluating and applying the
four key elements: authenticity, credibility, representativeness, and meaning.
