SAFETY DEVICE DESCRIPTION AND CHECK-UP

To counteract any failure or wear in the operating mechanism,
the lift is provided with the following safety systems:
 Safety device against obstacles encountered during lowering (both
posts).
 Safety device against wear or breakage of the main nut during both
lifting and lowering (both posts).
 Safety device against breakage or excessive slackening of the
drive chain.
 The switch control can be fitted with a

padlock to immobilize the lift.
 During maintenance and repair works
protect the lifts against non
authorized use by placing the padlock MOTOR
in the switch control.
 All safety systems are checked before
the lift leaves the factory.

DANGER
It is strictly forbidden to remove, damage, readjust or
tamper with safety devices.

pads are placed under the lifting points recommended by the vehicle’s
manufacturer.

LEVELLING THE COLUMNS

Once the lift is fixed on the floor, check levelling and distances
between columns. Columns should be slightly splayed open at the
top, with a maximum top-to-bottom difference of 15-20 mm.
