The art of sentry jumping

ENGLISH VERSION!!!111
The Mechanic is one of the classes that I enjoy playing most of the time, not only because it
has some little toys that shoot and kill people automatically, but because of the versatility it
has in the ways you can play with it; you can play building your sentry nest to keep the enemy
team at bay, keeping an eye on your buildings so that your team serves them, using weapons
specifically to hold them, like the Rescue Ranger or the Short Circuit, so that shortly after an
enemy Agent, Trooper or Annihilator comes and destroys them all; in short, the most stressful
way to play as a Mechanic in my opinion. Then, you have the good old Battle Engi with the
Widowmaker and Gunslinger combo, which can easily be the perfect way to play Mechanic, as
it gives you a balance between attack and defense for your team, and sometimes you end up
becoming a killing machine; and if we start getting a little more creative, we start being Uncle
Dane wannabes, playing as a ninjaneer with the Eureka Effect, putting a teleporter exit behind
the enemy team and killing them by surprise, since you teleported to that spot out of
nowhere, and then teleporting back to the spawn room unharmed, but who plays as a
ninjaneer in TC2? I mean it's like, what the hell are you doing playing like this bro?

And speaking of surprises, did you know that you can fly as Mechanic (yeah, it surely wasn't
much of a surprise knowing that you probably play TF2 before this trash).

Sentry Jumping, is more of a gimmick than a playstyle, loadout, or any specific strategy; it
basically consists of launching yourself with the rockets of your sentry gun to fly into the air, as
if it was a rocket jump, or sticky jump; a very important detail, is that instead of a single rocket,
the sentry fires 3 rockets at the same time, so, in a single jump, the Mechanic will go farther
than a Trooper or Annihilator could go, having triple the impulse; but if this video is about
Sentry Jump, that in fact it is, then you have to explain how to do it logically; and that's where
the Wrangler comes in; and if you think it's a good secondary, it's definitely not.

I'm not going to start complaining about why Wrangler is so unbalanced in TC2 and all the
problems it has; about how it turns your sentry gun into an automatic sniper because of the
non-existent damage drop it has, and that it is practically incomparable to the TF2 [Link]
that it turns out to have practically no comparison to the TF2 version, where the shield at least
has a useful function. But back, the Wrangler is basically a tool that allows us to have control of
our sentry at our own disposal, which means that we can shoot with it, both bullets with M1
and rockets with M2, respectively, when we see it necessary in the course of the match or
when we want to make a sentry jump, which can help us to take away those enemies that are
attacking us from afar; but in case you are not good at aiming and tracking the enemies it
could be a disadvantage when it comes to use it.

But back to the main theme of this video, Sentry jumping is not a viable way to play in both
balanced and unbalanced games, in general, because of the time it takes to build a level 3
sentry and the health penalty when doing so, added to the fall damage, causes that 99% of the
time, you die when you hit the ground and the enemy team proceeds to destroy your sentry
instantly that took you so long to build. But I'm not going to lie; it's honestly quite fun to do in
the middle of a game, since you can fly through the air and appear in front of your enemy out
of nowhere and kill him in 2 shots, because of the risk you take and the high skill level you
need to not get killed after one, it makes it very entertaining to do; and in very spacious maps
like Payload, such as Upward, Badwater or Calamity; they give you a great freedom to fly over
the map and accompanied by the different places where you can put your sentry to do it, make
you can take full advantage of this gimmick, and doing it you get this kind of things.
