🕐 TIEMPOS VERBALES DE FUTURO EN INGLÉS
1. Future Simple (will)
Usamos will para hablar de decisiones espontáneas, promesas,
predicciones y ofertas.
🔸 Afirmativa:
Sujeto + will + verbo en infinitivo
➡ I will help you. (Te ayudaré.)
🔸 Negativa:
Sujeto + won’t + verbo en infinitivo
➡ She won’t come to the party. (Ella no vendrá a la fiesta.)
🔸 Interrogativa:
Will + sujeto + verbo en infinitivo + ?
➡ Will you call me later? (¿Me llamarás más tarde?)
2. Be going to
Usamos be going to para hablar de planes, intenciones y
predicciones con evidencia.
🔸 Afirmativa:
Sujeto + am/are/is going to + verbo en infinitivo
➡ We are going to visit grandma. (Vamos a visitar a la abuela.)
🔸 Negativa:
Sujeto + am not / isn’t / aren’t going to + verbo
➡ He isn’t going to study today. (Él no va a estudiar hoy.)
🔸 Interrogativa:
Am/Is/Are + sujeto + going to + verbo + ?
➡ Are you going to eat pizza? (¿Vas a comer pizza?)
3. Might
Usamos might para hablar de posibilidades en el futuro (quizás,
tal vez...).
🔸 Afirmativa:
Sujeto + might + verbo en infinitivo
➡ I might go to the cinema. (Puede que vaya al cine.)
🔸 Negativa:
Sujeto + might not + verbo
➡ She might not pass the exam. (Puede que no apruebe el
examen.)
🔸 Interrogativa (menos común):
Might + sujeto + verbo + ?
➡ Might they come with us? (¿Podrían venir con nosotros?)
4. Present Continuous con valor de futuro
Usamos el presente continuo para hablar de planes personales
ya organizados (con fecha o lugar).
🔸 Afirmativa:
Sujeto + am/are/is + verbo en -ing
➡ I am meeting my friend at 6. (Quedo con mi amigo a las 6.)
🔸 Negativa:
Sujeto + am not / isn’t / aren’t + verbo en -ing
➡ They aren’t coming to the party. (Ellos no vienen a la fiesta.)
🔸 Interrogativa:
Am/Is/Are + sujeto + verbo en -ing + ?
➡ Are you leaving tomorrow? (¿Te vas mañana?)
5. Present Simple con valor de futuro
Usamos el presente simple para horarios y eventos fijos (trenes,
clases, vuelos...).
🔸 Afirmativa:
Sujeto + verbo en presente
➡ The train leaves at 9. (El tren sale a las 9.)
🔸 Negativa:
Sujeto + don’t / doesn’t + verbo
➡ The concert doesn’t start at 6. (El concierto no empieza a las 6.)
🔸 Interrogativa:
Do/Does + sujeto + verbo
➡ Does the film start at 8? (¿Empieza la película a las 8?)
6. Future Continuous (will be + -ing)
Usamos el futuro continuo para hablar de una acción que estará
ocurriendo en un momento futuro.
🔸 Afirmativa:
Sujeto + will be + verbo en -ing
➡ She will be studying at 10. (Estará estudiando a las 10.)
🔸 Negativa:
Sujeto + won’t be + verbo en -ing
➡ I won’t be working on Sunday. (No estaré trabajando el domingo.)
🔸 Interrogativa:
Will + sujeto + be + verbo en -ing + ?
➡ Will you be travelling next week? (¿Estarás viajando la próxima
semana?)
