WILL- Lo utilizamos para hablar de predicciones para el futuro que pueden ser a largo plazo o para
decisiones tomadas espontáneamente sobre algo que vamos a hacer.
AFFIRMATIVE Sujeto + will + infinitivo She will pass the exam
NEGATIVE Sujeto + won’t + infinitive She won’t pass the exam
INTERROGATIVE Will + sujeto + infinitive…? Will she pass the exam?
GOING TO- Lo utilizamos para hablar de planes futuros que todavía no tienen una fecha
exacta para realizarse o cosas que van a suceder basándonos en algún tipo de evidencia en el presente
(nublado-va a llover).
AFFIRMATIVE Sujeto + am/is/are + going to + infinitivo It’s going to be hot tomorrow
NEGATIVE Sujeto + ‘m not/isn’t/aren’t + going to + It isn’t going to be hot

PRESENT SIMPLE- Lo utilizamos para hablar de una acción futura fija que puede
estar establecida de antemano (como el horario de un avión).
AFFIRMATIVE Sujeto + verbo (s/es/ies para she-he-it) She will pass the exam
NEGATIVE Sujeto + don’t/doesn’t + infinitivo She won’t pass the exam
INTERROGATIVE Do/Does + sujeto + infinitive…? Will she pass the exam?
PRESENT CONTINUOUS- Lo utilizamos para hablar de una acción que
va a estar en progreso cierto día y horario, planificada a futuro pero con un horario ya establecido que no se
puede cambiar (cita con el médico).
AFFIRMATIVE Sujeto + am/is/are + verbo + ing He is meeting Tim tomorrow
NEGATIVE Sujeto + ‘m not/isn’t/aren’t + verbo + ing He isn’t meeting Tim tomorrow
INTERROGATIVE Am/Is/Are + sujeto + verbo + ing…? Is he meeting Tim tomorrow?
FUTURE CONTINUOUS- Lo utilizamos para hablar de una acción que
definitivamente va a estar sucediendo en el futuro pero sin fecha u horario específico.
AFFIRMATIVE Sujeto + will be + verbo + ing They’ll be playing football on
Sunday
NEGATIVE Sujeto + won’t be + verbo + ing They won’t be playing football
on Sunday
INTERROGATIVE Will + sujeto + be + verbo + ing…? Will they be playing football on
Sunday?

FUTURE PERFECT- Lo utilizamos para hablar de algo que en cierto momento del
futuro va a haber sucedido.
AFFIRMATIVE Sujeto + will have + verbo + ed/3ra columna
