Does he go to work by car?
(Wh-word) + Auxiliar (do/does) +
Sujeto + Verbo (Infinitivo) +
WH-WORD AUX SUJETO VERBO COMP

I llego
do Para responder preguntas que no lleven
you llegas pronombre interrogativo, es decir,
aquellas que empiezan por el verbo
does he/she/it llega auxiliar ‘to do’, tenemos que
What time
get utilizar ‘short answers’ (respuestas
(A qué hora) we llegamos home cortas).
do you llegáis ‘Yes’ o ‘No’ a secas les parece un poco
grosero.
do’:
- Do you watch TV? - ¿Cena (ella) en casa?
- Yes, I do. – Sí.
- No, I don’t. – No.
NOTA: El verbo ‘to do’ puede funcionar como verbo auxiliar, en frases negativas e interrogativas, o como un verbo normal,
que da significado a la frase: “When do you do your homework?” (¿Cuándo haces los deberes?); “She doesn’t do exercise”
((Ella) No hace ejercicio).
NEAR (cerca) FAR (lejos) NOUN (sustantivo)

SINGULAR This (esta) That (esa, aquella) Bed (cama)

femenino:
This sofa is uncomfortable
Este sofá es incómodo
This shelf is useful
“habitaciones” (plr.). En inglés, también concordarán en número.
That chair is big
Esa silla es grande
Those chairs are big
These men are tall Estos hombres son altos

Those women are beautiful Aquellas mujeres son preciosas

4) En conversaciones telefónicas se utiliza “this” para dar a conocer quién está al teléfono;
