1.
Yes/No Questions (Preguntas cerradas)
Estructura:
Auxiliar + sujeto + verbo principal + complemento
Ejemplos:Do you like coffee? Is she coming to the party? Can
you drive?
2. Wh- Questions (Preguntas abiertas)
Empiezan con un pronombre interrogativo (who, what, where,
when, why, how) y buscan información específica.
Estructura:
Wh- word + auxiliar + sujeto + verbo principal +
complemento
Ejemplos: Where do you live? Why did he leave?
3. Have Questions (Preguntas con "Have")
a) Presente perfecto:
Estructura: Have/Has + sujeto + verbo en participio +
complemento
Ejemplos:Have you ever been to London? Has she finished the
report?
b) Verbo "have" (posesión o necesidad): Cuando "have"
question.
Ejemplos:Do you have a car? Have you got any questions?
4. Indirect Questions (Preguntas indirectas)
formales y corteses.
Estructura:
Frase introductoria + pregunta indirecta (sin inversión)
Ejemplos:Can you tell me where the station is? Do you know if
he is coming?
viceversa.
Ejemplos: You are coming, aren’t you? She doesn’t like sushi,
does she?
pronombre sujeto.
Ejemplo: She is a teacher, isn’t she?
Ejemplo:He doesn’t like coffee, does he?
Pasos clave:
"do", "have", o un modal como "can", "will", etc.).
Ojo Excepciones
1. "I am" → aren’t I 1. Nothing → it
o I am your friend, aren’t I? o Nothing happened, did it?
2. "Let’s" → shall we 2. Used to → didn’t
o Let’s go, shall we? o She used to live here, didn’t
