PELO
HECHO!
Disfrute de su Superman!

NOTE
The traditional way to finish limbs that will be attached to a body is to leave a long piece of
yarn to sew. If you are comfortable with this approach, stick with it. I prefer to use a standard
needle and thread to attach limbs to get a tighter seam. Either approach woks great!
LEGS (X2)
Start by using blue yarn
R1 (18) ch 18

Time to stuff the leg from the top opening! Make sure that the foot is flat on the bottom - you
may need to massge it a bit to get the right foot shape.
BELT
Using yellow yarn
R1 (32) 32 cadenas y rematar
NOTE:
Wrap the belt around the torso where the blue and red yarn meets, tie a knot in the back, then
pull the remaining into the torso with the crochet hook.
Then, sew the belt to the torso using yellow thread to secure it to the body
EARS (X2)
Using peach yarn
R1 (5) ch 2, 5 sc in first ch
R2 (5) 1 sc in next 5 st, FO
HAIR
Using black yarn
Creating Superman´s hairdo:
Using a tapestry needle, pull a long string of black yarn through the head until the tail end has
disappeared indide.
Then, gently threard the needle back into the head to create your first strand of hair.
It´s best to create his hairline first before filling in the rest. It´s a long process, but it´s worth it
in the end.
Once the hairline has been blocked out, create Superman´s curl in the front with short stitches
on his forehead (as shown).
Make sure that his hair is parted slightly to the right (his left) splitingat the top point of his curl.
TIME TO SEW!
It´s time to attach the head and limbs!
Refer to the photos in this pattern to find the right placement and using either the tapestry
needle and the extra yarn you left, or a standard needle and thread, sew the limbs onto the
body.
CHEST LOGO
Cut out the diamond shape to the right out of red felt.
With a needle and yellow thread, carefully sew the autline of the blacked out shapes, then fill
the shapes in with vertical stitches. This will create the finished logo.
When you´re done with the embroidery, sew the logo onto Superman´s chest with red thread..
CAPE
Cut out the cape shape to the right out of red felt.
With a needle and red thread, sew the straps of the cape onto Superman´s shoulders.
DONE!
Enjoy your Superman!
