¿Cuándo se conocieron y cómo surgió Morat?
Son amigos desde siempre, ya que sus padres también lo son desde antes de que ellos nacieran. Fueron juntos al
colegio y su interés por la música llegó muy pronto. Empezaron a tocar cuando eran unos niños, por lo que es difícil darle
a la banda un punto de inicio exacto. Aunque reconocen que después de graduarse, decidieron organizarse y apostar por
Morat como proyecto.
¿Por qué decidieron llamar a la banda Morat?
Según explicó Alejandro en una entrevista, Morat viene de La Morat, el nombre de la finca en la que empezaron
a tocar.
Además de formar parte de esta banda, los chicos de Morat... ¿studian?
Sí, has leído bien. Tienen tiempo para todo. Alejandro estudia Arquitectura, Simón estudia Historia y Derecho,
Villa estudia Música e Ingeniería Industrial y Juan Pablo estudia Música y Administración.
¿Qué significa Paulina Rubio en su carrera?
Es su ‘hada madrina’. Tocaron en España por primera vez gracias a ella. En principio Mi nuevo vicioera su
equivalente a lo que hoy es Cómo te atreves, pero decidieron compartirlo con Paulina Rubio. Todo un acierto. “Paulina
nos dijo: 'quiero la canción'. Y le dijimos: 'está bien, pero es nuestra, déjanos tocarla contigo'. Y ella accedió. Fue
increíble”, recuerdan los chicos de Morat en sus entrevistas. "Además de convertirse en una amiga, nos enseñó mucho
sobre lo que es ser un artista. Eso, conjunto al éxito de la canción hace que la experiencia de trabajar con ella haya sido
