A travs de Steam / Through Steam
1. Instalar Steam (con el fichero que se encuentra en la carpeta #JIMBO del origen de la instalacin del juego o a travs del mismo instalador). A continuacin, crear un usuario, si es que no dispone de ninguno. Loguearse y esperar hasta que Steam termine de actualizarse. Una vez actualizado, cerrarlo.
Install Steam (with the file which can be found into the folder #JIMBO of the game installer or using the installer itself). Then, create a user if you dont have any. Log in and wait until Steam gets updated. Finally, close it.
2. Instalar el juego en cualquier carpeta, eligiendo la versin Steam (tambin se puede luego con [Link]), que slo aparecer si Steam est instalado en nuestro equipo.
Install the game to any folder. Make sure you choose to install the Steam version (you can also select it later with [Link]). It will be only possible if Steam is installed in the computer.
Configurar el juego en red / Configure the online part
En el momento de escribir estas lneas, podemos jugar usando varias appid, como por ejemplo la 480. La appid se puede elegir (a)escribindola en el men correspondiente del instalador o (b)usando el men que se abre con el fichero [Link] (imgenes de abajo). Servidor y cliente han de usar la misma appid.
At the moment of writing these lines, we can play online using several appid, like 480. The desired appid can be selected (a)at the installer or (b)using the file [Link] (images below). Server and client have to use the same appid.
Recurdese que para poder jugar online es imprescindible que todos los jugadores tengan activa la versin Steam del juego. Para ello, abrir el fichero [Link]. Si aparece versin no-Steam, usar la opcin 4 para cambiar a la versin Steam.
Remember that to be able to play online, every player must have the Steam version active. To do that, execute [Link]. If you see nonSteam version, choose the 4th option to change to Steam version.
Finalmente jugar!
1. Ejecutar Steam y loguearse. Se recomienda usar una cuenta falsa.
Launch Steam and log in. It is recommended to use a fake account.
2. En caso de que no tengamos, aadir amigos a nuestro usuario Steam, que ser, en principio, con quienes podamos jugar. Si se desconoce cmo hacerlo, buscar en Internet el texto cmo agregar amigos al Steam? para ver los tutoriales que hay al respecto.
If we do not have any, we have to add friends to your Steam user, who will be mostly those we will be able to share the game with. If you ignore how to do it, use Google to find a tutorial.
3. Ejecutamos el juego con el fichero [Link].
We will launch the game from the file [Link].
4. En el juego, el servidor ha de pinchar sobre multijugador en red y luego sobre cualquiera de los 3 modos de juego disponibles, segn lo que queramos.
Once in the game, the server has to click on online multiplayer and then on any of the three game modes available, depending on what we want.
A continuacin, crear partida.
Next, create match.
Elegimos los parmetros a nuestro gusto y pinchamos otra vez sobre crear partida.
We configure the match the way we want and click again on create match.
Llegaremos a la sala de espera, donde podremos invitar a los amigos o esperar a que ellos se unan sin previa invitacin. Hay dos formas de invitarlos: O bien pinchamos sobre el botn invitar, que est abajo a la izquierda,
At the lobby, we can invite the friends to our match or just wait until they join it without invitation. There are two different ways to invite them: either clicking on the invite button at the bottom left part of the screen,
O bien abrimos el men de Steam (alt + tabulador), pinchamos con el botn derecho del ratn sobre el nombre del amigo que est tambin ejecutando el juego y elegimos invitar a la partida.
Or through the menu that is opened pressing the keys shift + tab, where we will right-click on the name of the friend who is also playing the game and choose invite to the game.
Si hemos optado por la primera posibilidad, un men de Steam diferente nos aparecer en la pantalla, con un botn invitar a la derecha de cada amigo. Elegimos el que est jugando a nuestro juego y pinchamos sobre l.
If we chose the first method, a different Steam menu will pop up with an invite button next to our friends. We choose the one who is playing our game and click on that button. We will see the invitation has been sent because the name of the button will change.
En cualquiera de los casos, cuando el amigo se haya unido, estaremos listos para jugar.
In any case, when the friend has joined the game, we will be ready to play.
5. El cliente tiene varias formas de UNIRSE A LA PARTIDA: o bien a travs del men de Steam que aparece al pulsar las teclas mayus + tab, donde, si el servidor nos ha invitado, veremos dicha invitacin y la aceptaremos
The client has several ways to JOIN THE GAME: either through the menu that is opened pressing the keys shift + tab, where, if we have been invited by the server, we will accept it
O bien, sin esperar a ser invitados, pinchando con el botn derecho del ratn sobre el nombre del servidor y luego en Unirse al juego.
Or, without being invited, right mouse button click on the servers name and Join Game.
O bien usando los mens del propio juego para encontrar la partida que el servidor haya creado.
Or using the game menus to find the match the server is hosting.
Si optamos por esto ltimo, lo ms fcil, cuando nos aparezcan las tres opciones que vemos en la imagen de abajo, es pinchar sobre partida rpida y esperar a ser automticamente conectados, si el juego encuentra la creada por el servidor.
If we chose the last possibility, the easiest option is quick match and let the game find the match the server is hosting.
Pero tambin es posible usar la opcin de partida personalizada.
But it is also possible the custom match.
En cualquiera de los casos, llegaremos a la sala de espera, donde indicaremos que estamos preparados y esperaremos a que el servidor tambin lo est.
In any case, we will arrive at the lobby, where we will click on toggle ready and wait until the server is ready too.
Partidas guardadas / Saved games
Los avances se guardan en el fichero cc_save.dat, que en la versin Steam se encuentra en la subcarpeta save de aquella en que est instalado el juego, y en la versin no-Steam se encuentra en la subcarpeta Profile\Saves.
The saved games are stored into the file cc_save.dat, which for the Steam version is inside the subfolder save of the installation folder, and for the non-Steam version is inside Profile\Saves.
