1️⃣ First Conditional (Primer condicional)
👉 Para qué se usa:
Para hablar de situaciones reales o posibles en el futuro y su consecuencia.
📌 Creemos que puede pasar de verdad.
Estructura
If + present simple, will + base verb
✔️ El if puede ir al principio o en el medio.
Ejemplos
● If it rains, I will stay at home.
(Si llueve, me quedaré en casa)
● If you study, you will pass the exam.
● I will call you if I arrive early.
Es futuro real + consecuencia posible.
2️⃣ Second Conditional (Segundo condicional)
👉 Para qué se usa:
Para hablar de situaciones imaginarias, irreales o poco probables en el presente o futuro.
📌 Es algo que no es real ahora o muy difícil que pase.
Estructura
If + past simple, would + base verb
⚠️ Importante:
Con I / he / she / it → usamos were, no was (formal).
Ejemplos
● If I had more money, I would travel around the world.
(Pero no tengo dinero)
● If I were you, I would study more.
● She would buy that house if she lived here.
Pasado = imaginación, no tiempo real.
3️⃣ Third Conditional (Tercer condicional)
👉 Para qué se usa:
Para hablar de situaciones del pasado que ya no se pueden cambiar.
📌 Es para expresar arrepentimiento, crítica o resultado diferente.
Estructura
If + past perfect, would have + past participle
Ejemplos
● If I had studied more, I would have passed the exam.
(No estudié → no aprobé)
● If she had left earlier, she would have arrived on time.
● They would have won if they had played better.
4️⃣ Diferencia entre
WILL
GOING TO
🔹 WILL/ WON’T
👉 Se usa para:
● Decisiones en el momento
● Promesas
● Predicciones sin evidencia clara
Ejemplos
● I’m tired. I will go to bed.
● I will help you with your homework.
● I think it will rain tomorrow.
🔹 GOING TO
👉 Se usa para:
● Planes ya decididos
● Predicciones con evidencia
Ejemplos
● I’m going to visit my grandmother this weekend.
● Look at the sky! It’s going to rain.
✔️ Will → decisión ahora / promesa / opinión
✔️ Going to → plan previo / evidencia visible
Todo está en el pasado y ya terminó.
