gcloud compute networks subnets expand-ip-range NAME --prefix-length=PREFIX_LENGTH [--region=REGION] [GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG …]
gcloud compute networks subnets expand-ip-range expands the IP
range of a VPC subnetwork.

This command doesn't work for secondary subnets or for subnets that are used exclusively for load balancer proxies. For more information, see Proxy-only subnets for load balancers.SUBNET to /16,
run:
gcloud compute networks subnets expand-ip-range SUBNET --region=us-central1 --prefix-length=16NAME--prefix-length=PREFIX_LENGTH--region=REGION
To avoid prompting when this flag is omitted, you can set the
property:
compute/region
gcloud config set compute/region REGIONA list of regions can be fetched by running:
gcloud compute regions listTo unset the property, run:
gcloud config unset compute/regionCLOUDSDK_COMPUTE_REGION.
