Introduction:

ß is pronounced as 'ess' and typed as 'ss'
ei is pronounced as 'ai'
Sentences with 'Ich' loses the -n on the verbs, as in 'Wie heisse-n...' and 'Ich
heisse-...'
'alt' means 'old'
'alter' means 'age'
ALL German nouns need to have a capital letter beginning, i.e: 'Student'
'Ich bin achtzehn Jahre alt'/'I am 18 years old'

To construct numbers, tens name, in this case, 'zwanzig' will be the 2nd part of
the name, and the first part will be the single digit (for 21, single digit is 1, or
eins), then put 'und' between the 2 names, so 21 will be einundzwanzig, with
eins losing its -s.

answer, then the rest of it, if it starts with Wie, Wo, etc. then just say the answer.

Die:
Words that end with -ei, -anz, -enz, -heit, keit, -ie, -ik. -ion, -ität, -schaft, -ung, -ur,
-in are always feminine
Der:
Words that end with -ant, -ent, -ich, -ling, -er, -ismus, -ist, days and months are
masculine, all weather things are masculine, compass directions are masculine,
almost all alcoholic drinks are masculine except bier. (Das bier).
Das:
Words that end with -chen, -lein, -ment, -um, -tum, -ma, normalized verbs are
always neutral, most metals are neutral, words started with -Ge are neutral

Brauchen = to need
Brauchen, haben, benutzen are all akkusativ.

For st/sch/sp:
If it is in the start of any syllable or word, then its -sh, but if it’s in the
middle/ensd of a syllable it is -s. Also if it is in different syllable it is -s.

Basically, the akkusativ version is used when a subject in the question sentence
is simplified into a pronoun. Zum beispiel: Mein Bruder – bis – Ihn
Ich weiß es nicht = I do not know
Kirchen = churches
Akkusativ personalpronomen:
NOMINATIV ALWAYS GOES BEFORE AKKUSATIV PRONOMEN.

Zum gluck (u is u umlaut) = fortunately

Durfen = may/allowed/permitted
Mogen = like

Einaml pro Woche = once a week

Nur am Sonntag = Only on Sunday
If there are 2 verbs in a sentence, then infinitiv version of the verb at the end,
and model verb at position 1 or 2.
For denn, verb will be after the subject. For weil, model verb will be at the end.
Ich muss nachdenken = I need to think about it.
Wiederholen Sie bitte = repeat it please
Ko(umlaut)nnen Sie bitte wiederholen! = Can you repeat it please.
Wie bitte? = excuse me.
Ich habe eine Frage, Herr Lehrer. = I have a question teacher.
Schon = already/yet
Ich bin nicht sicher = I am not sure (put u(umlaut)ber then the number)
Ich glaube/ich denke = I think
Fahrradtour = bike tour
Ich bin ein bisschen verwirrt = I am a little confused.

Mir = me, but referring to stuff like ‘my emotions’

use sein when:
1. Bewegungsverben, when moving from one place to another. (fahren, gehen,
wandern)
2. Wechsel von Zustand (aufstehen, sterben, frieren).
3. Ausnahmen (warden, bleiben, begegnen, gelingen, misslingen, sein).

After prepositions its always a dativ case.
