▪ Correct verb should be chosen from the options given below.
▪ One should know all the verb conjugation types in order to attempt
these questions.

▪ Almost all the verbs ends with -en


▪ Alteration of verb ending (-en) to each subject is called as konjugation.
▪ For easy understanding of the concept let us consider the verb ending
(-en) as the tail part of a verb and anything before (-en) as main part of
a verb
▪ An example is shown below

Type A:
• Remove the entire tail part ie., -en and -st and -t to the appropriate
konjugations.

Ausnahme(Exception):
• Do the konjugation as like Type A - Remove the entire tail part ie., -en
and -st and -t to the appropriate konjugations.
• With only one change in du konjugation remove -en but add only -t

Irregular Verb:
• In irregular verb do the konjugation as like regular Type A ie., remove
the enitre tail part (-en) and add -st, -t to the appropriate konjugations.
• In addition to the changes, we should also change the main of the verb
ie., a-ä, e-i, e-ie.
• But the changes of a-ä, e-i, e-ie should happen only in du and er,sie,es
konjugations.
3. Trennbare Verben:

• Separate the verb and use it in a sentence.


• Place the verb in the second position and conjugate it according to the subject.
• Separate the prefix and place it at the end.

4. Modal Verben

• There are only 7 (6+1) Modal verben in German Language


• All the verbs work like English except sollen. Sollen will be used when it is order.

▪ Only singular konjugations have to remembered.
