Articles
In German, articles change based on gender and case. The definite articles are:
der (masculine), die (feminine), das (neuter)
Example: der Tisch (the table), die Lampe (the lamp), das Buch (the book)
Present Tense Verb Conjugation
Most regular verbs follow a simple pattern in the present tense. For example, 'spielen' (to
play):
ich spiele (I play), du spielst (you play), er/sie/es spielt (he/she/it plays)
wir spielen (we play), ihr spielt (you all play), sie spielen (they play)
Sentence Structure
Basic German sentences follow the Subject-Verb-Object (SVO) structure.
Example: Ich lese ein Buch. (I am reading a book.)
Adjective Endings
Adjectives change based on the gender, number, and case of the noun they describe.
Example: der große Tisch (the big table), die kleine Lampe (the small lamp)
