beautiful, we are going to the park.)
● Damit: Ich lerne viel, damit ich die Prüfung bestehe. (I study a lot so that I
pass the exam.)
● Wenn: Ich helfe dir, wenn ich Zeit habe. (I will help you if I have time.)
● Falls: Falls es morgen regnet, bleiben wir im Haus. (In case it rains tomorrow,
we will stay in the house.)
● Sofern: Wir spielen draußen, sofern der Platz trocken ist. (We will play
outside, provided that the field is dry.)
Contrast & Limitation
● Obwohl / Obgleich / Obschon: Ich gehe spazieren, obwohl es stark regnet.
(I go for a walk although it is raining heavily.)
