5 Montage
Anforderungen an ♦ Fremdkörper

gut leitend miteinander verbinden.
Gegebenenfalls müssen Sie Kontakt- oder Kratzscheiben
verwenden.
B. RC-
Gliedern, Varistoren) beschaltet werden.
Weitergehende Informationen finden Sie in der Broschüre
"Installationshinweise für EMV-gerechten Aufbau von Antrieben"

05.2005 Description
2 Description
Range of application The Compact PLUS rectifier units consist of a rectifier module for
generating DC link voltage. They are used to feed several inverters for
the configuration of a multi-motor system with a maximum total drive
power of 100 kW.
An external high-load resistor (braking resistor) can be connected up to
an integrated braking resistor control by means of which regenerative
braking energy can be reduced.
This resistor has to be equipped with a thermostatic switch.
The optional OP1S operator control panel is mounted to the front panel
where it has a connection to the RS485 interface. All inverters
connected up to the rectifier unit can be visualized and controlled by
means of this operator control panel.
The rectifier units do not require an ON command; they are powered up
automatically after the incoming power supply is energized. This is on
the condition that the external 24 V supply has been energized.
Displays The operating status is displayed by three LEDs in the front panel.

10 Environmental Friendliness
Environmental The number of components has been significantly reduced over earlier
aspects during the converter series by the use of highly integrated components and the
development modular design of the complete series. Thus, the energy requirement
during production has been reduced.
Special significance was placed on the reduction of the volume, weight
and variety of metal and plastic components.
Environmental The unit can be broken down into recyclable mechanical components
aspects for disposal as a result of easily releasable screw and snap connections.
The plastic components are to DIN 54840 and have a recycling symbol.
After the service life has expired, the product must be disposed of in
accordance with the applicable national regulations.
