Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise für Sicherheit,
Gebrauch und Entsorgung. Machen Sie sich
vor der Benutzung des Produkts mit allen Be-

nutzen Sie das Produkt nur wie beschrieben

Bestimmungsgemäße
Verwendung
Das Produkt ist zum Messen von Holz- und
Baufeuchte geeignet, zum Beispiel in Brenn-
hölzern, Mörtel, Beton oder Putz. Das Produkt
ist nur für den Einsatz in privaten Haushalten
und nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch vor-
gesehen. Das Produkt ist nur für den Innenbe-
reich geeignet.

LEBENSGEFAHR! Halten Sie
Batterien/Akkus außer Reich-
weite von Kindern.

 Suchen Sie im Falle eines Ver-
schluckens sofort einen Arzt auf!
Verschlucken kann zu Verbren-
nungen, Perforation von Weich-
gewebe und Tod führen. Schwere
Verbrennungen können innerhalb
von 2 Stunden nach dem Ver-
schlucken auftreten.
EXPLOSIONSGEFAHR!
Laden Sie nicht auflad-
bare Batterien niemals
wieder auf. Schließen Sie Batterien/
Akkus nicht kurz und/oder öffnen
Sie diese nicht. Überhitzung, Brand-
gefahr oder Platzen können die
Folge sein.

Risiko des Auslaufens von

Vermeiden Sie extreme Bedin-
gungen und Temperaturen, die
auf Batterien/Akkus einwirken
können, z. B. auf Heizkörpern/
durch direkte Sonneneinstrahlung.
Wenn Batterien/Akkus ausgelaufen
sind, vermeiden Sie den Kontakt
von Haut, Augen und Schleim-
häuten mit den Chemikalien!
Spülen Sie die betroffenen Stellen

SCHUTZHANDSCHUHE
TRAGEN! Ausgelaufene
oder beschädigte Bat-
terien/Akkus können bei Berüh-
rung mit der Haut Verätzungen
verursachen. Tragen Sie deshalb
in diesem Fall geeignete Schutz-
handschuhe.
Im Falle eines Auslaufens der
Batterien/Akkus entfernen Sie
diese sofort aus dem Produkt, um
Beschädigungen zu vermeiden.
Verwenden Sie nur Batterien/Ak-
kus des gleichen Typs. Mischen

Vor der Inbetriebnahme

Entfernen Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme die
Schutzfolie vom Display 8 des Produkts
und legen Sie die beiliegenden Batterien
ein.

Batterien einlegen/wechseln

Wenn im Display 8 die Anzeige für niedrigen

Batteriezustand 11 erscheint, sind die einge-
legten Batterien nahezu erschöpft und müssen
ausgetauscht werden. Leere Batterien können
den Messwert verfälschen.

Gehen Sie zum Einlegen der Batterien wie
folgt vor:

der Rückseite des Produkts.
Entnehmen Sie ggf. die alten Batterien.
Setzen Sie 2 Batterien LR03/AAA ein.
Beachten Sie die richtige Polarität.
Legen Sie die Batterien in das Batteriefach
7 und schließen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel
6 wieder, so dass er hörbar einrastet.
Hinweis: Während Sie die Batterien einlegen,
darf keine andere Taste gedrückt werden.

Inbetriebnahme

Bevor Sie eine Messung

durchführen
Achten Sie darauf, dass beide Messstifte
2 gleichzeitig die aterialober che be-
rühren.

nicht im Sichtbereich liegt.
Hinweis: Die Messstifte 2 sind spitz und

beschädigen.
Reiben Sie feuchte Rückstände auf der
Ober che vor der essung trocken
Messen Sie an verschiedenen Stellen und
ermitteln Sie einen Durchschnittswert.
Achten Sie darauf, dass Salze die Leitfähig-
keit von Wasser erhöhen. Dadurch kann die
Messung verfälscht werden und zu hoch
ausfallen.
Entfernen Sie bei Kaminholz, falls notwen-
dig, die Rinde. Drücken Sie die Messstifte
2 quer zur Faserrichtung an verschiedenen
Stellen in das Holz ein.

Messung durchführen
Drücken Sie die -Taste 4 , um das
Produkt einzuschalten. Im Display 8 er-
scheint „ die U gebungste pera-
tur in °C und das zuvor gewählte Material
1-6 (siehe Abb. A).
Halten Sie die / C/ F -Taste 3 ca.
5 Sekunden gedrückt, um in der Tempera-
turanzeige zwischen °C und °F zu wechseln.
Dr cken Sie wiederholt die / C/ F -Taste
3 , um das Produkt auf das zu messende
Material einzustellen (siehe Tabelle Refe-
renzwerte):

Hinweis: Die zuvor dargestellte Tabelle dient

zur Messung von Brennholz. Wenn die gemes-
sene Feuchtigkeit 15 oder weniger betr gt
ist das Holz ideal zum Verfeuern. Beträgt die
Feuchtigkeit zwischen 16 und 20 ist die
Eignung grenzwertig Bei ber 21 Feuchtigkeit
eignet sich das Holz nicht zum Verfeuern und
muss erst weiter getrocknet werden.

 Hinweis: Bei Messungen, die unterhalb des
Messbereichs liegen, zeigt das Display 8
„ “ oder „Lo“ an. Bei Messungen, die
oberhalb des Messbereichs liegen, zeigt

Entfernen Sie die Schutzkappe 1 .
Drücken Sie beide Messstifte 2 gleich-
zeitig gegen die Ober che Nach ca
1–2 Sekunden können Sie den Prozentwert
ablesen.
Wenn Sie in einem Bereich messen, in dem
Sie das Display 8 nicht ablesen können,
drücken Sie die -Taste 4 , um die
Anzeige im Display 8 einzufrieren. Das
Display 8 zeigt dann zusätzlich das
Schloss-Symbol 12 an.
Drücken Sie die -Taste 4 noch einmal,
um eine erneute Messung durchzuführen.
Ist die Messung erfolgt, schalten Sie das
Produkt aus, indem Sie die -Taste 4
für mehr als 5 Sekunden gedrückt halten.

 Setzen Sie anschließend die Schutzkappe
wieder auf.
Hinweis: Das Produkt schaltet sich auto-
matisch aus, wenn das Produkt innerhalb
von ungefähr 60 Sekunden nicht bedient
wird.

Batterieanzeige
Bei niedrigem Batterieladezustand erscheint
im Display 8 die Anzeige für niedrigen Batterie-
zustand 11 . Bitte beachten Sie, dass bei
niedrigem Batterieladezustand die Messwerte
falsch oder ungenau sind. Tauschen Sie bei
Erscheinen dieser Anzeige schnellstmöglich
die Batterien aus. Der Batteriewechsel wird
im Kapitel „Batterien einlegen/wechseln“
beschrieben.

 Temperaturanzeige
Sie können in der Temperaturanzeige zwischen
°C und °F wechseln, indem Sie die M/°C/°F-
Taste 3 ca. 5 Sekunden gedrückt halten.

Displayanzeige drehen
Sie können die Anzeige im Display 8 um
180 drehen inde Sie die -Taste 4 und
die M/°C/°F-Taste 3 gleichzeitig drücken
(siehe Abb. B).

RESET-Funktion
Eine Kalibrierung kann durchgeführt werden,
wenn direkt nach dem Einschalten des Produkts
nicht 0 0 auf de Display 8 angezeigt wird.

leicht angefeuchteten Tuch und trocknen
Sie sie anschließend ab.
Kontrollieren Sie das Produkt vor jeder An-
wendung auf äußere, sichtbare Schäden.

Lagerung

Before initial use, remove the protective

the enclosed batteries.

Inserting/changing the batteries

If the low battery indicator 11 appears in the

display 8 , the inserted batteries are almost
drained and must be replaced. Empty batteries
can falsify the measured result.

To insert the batteries proceed as follows:

Open the battery compartment cover 6
on the back of the product.
Remove the used batteries.
Insert 2 LR03/AAA batteries. Observe the
correct polarity.

 Insert the batteries in the battery compart-
ment 7 and close the battery compart-
ment cover 6 again, so that it audibly
latches into place.
Note: No button should be pressed while
inserting the batteries.

Ensure that both measuring pins 2 touch
the surface of the material at the same
time.
Increase the pressure on the measuring
pins 2 for rough surfaces if necessary.
For delicate surfaces complete the meas-
urement on a section that is not in the visible
area.
Note: The measuring pins 2 are sharp
and may dent or damage the surface.

Rub the damp residue on the surface be-
fore taking the measurement.
Measure several places and take an aver-
age value.
Be aware that salts can increase the con-
ductivity of water. This can lead to incorrect
readings and results that are too high.
Re ove the bark fro rewood if needed
Press the measuring pins 2 against the
grain in various places on the wood.

Taking a measurement
Press the button 4 to turn on the
product. On the display 8 “ ”, the
surrounding temperature in °C and the
previously selected aterial 1-6 see g A
appears.
Press the M/°C/°F button 3 and hold it
down for approximately 5 seconds to switch
the temperature display between °C and °F.

Temperature display
You can change the temperature display
between °C and °F by pressing the M/°C/°F
button 3 for approximately 5 seconds.

to calibrate again.

insérer les piles :
Ouvrez le couvercle du compartiment à
piles 6 situé au dos du produit.
Si nécessaire, retirez les piles usagées.
Insérez 2 piles LR03/AAA. Respectez la
polarité.
Placez les piles dans le compartiment à
piles 7 et refermez le couvercle du com-
partiment à piles 6 de manière à ce qu’il

Veillez à ce que les deux broches 2
touchent simultanément la surface du
matériau.
En cas de surface rugueuse, augmenter le
cas échéant la pression sur les broches 2 .
En cas de surface sensible, réalisez la
mesure à un endroit qui n‘est pas dans le
champ de vision.
Remarque : Les broches 2 sont pointues
et peuvent s‘incruster dans la surface ou
l‘endommager.
Avant toute mesure, séchez la surface en
tapotant les résidus humides pouvant s‘y
trouver.

aan de achterkant van het product.
Verwijder indien nodig de oude batterijen.
Plaats 2 batterijen van het type LR03/AAA.
Let op de juiste polariteit.
Leg de batterijen in het batterijvak 7 en
sluit het deksel van het batterijvak 6
zodanig dat het hoorbaar vastklikt.
Opmerking: tijdens het plaatsen van
de batterijen mag er geen andere knop
worden ingedrukt.

Ingebruikname

Voordat u een meting uitvoert

Let erop, dat beide meetpinnen 2 gelijk-
tijdig het materiaaloppervlak aanraken.
Verhoog bij ruwe oppervlakken indien
nodig de druk op de meetpinnen 2 .
Voer bij gevoelige oppervlakken de meting
op een plek uit, waar het niet zichtbaar is.
Opmerking: de meetpinnen 2 zijn puntig
en kunnen het oppervlak indrukken resp.
beschadigen.
Wrijf de vochtige resten op het oppervlak
droog voor het meten.
Meet op diverse plekken en stel de gemid-
delde waarde vast.
Let erop, dat zouten het geleidingsvermo-
gen van water verhogen. Hierdoor kan de
meting niet correct zijn en te hoog uitvallen.
Verwijder bij open haard-hout, indien nodig,
de bast. Druk de meetpinnen 2 dwars op
NL/BE 139
 de vezelrichting op verschillende plekken
in het hout.

Meting uitvoeren
Druk op de -knop 4 om het product
in te schakelen. Op het display 8 verschijnt
‘ ’, de omgevingstemperatuur in °C en
het eerder geselecteerde materiaal 1–6
(zie afb. A).
Houd de / C/ F -knop 3 ca. 5 secon-
den ingedrukt om de temperatuur-weer-
gave in te stellen op °C of °F.
Druk eer aals op de / C/ F -knop 3
om het product op het te meten materiaal

dan tevens het slot-symbool 12 .
Druk nog een keer op de -knop 4
om een nieuwe meting uit te voeren.
Als de meting is afgerond, schakelt u de
vochtmeter uit door de -knop 4 lan-
ger dan 5 seconden ingedrukt te houden.
Plaats vervolgens de beschermkap weer
terug.

tisch uit als het product gedurende onge-
veer 60 seconden niet wordt bediend.

Batterij-weergave
Bij een lage batterijspanning verschijnt op
het display 8 de weergave voor lage batterij-
spanning 11 . Let erop dat bij een lage batterij-
spanning de gemeten waardes foutief of
onnauwkeurig zijn. Vervang bij het verschijnen
van deze weergave zo snel mogelijk de batte-
rijen. Het vervangen van de batterijen wordt
beschreven in het hoofdstuk “Batterijen plaat-
sen/vervangen”.

Temperatuur-weergave
U kunt de te peratuur-weergave instellen op C
of F door de / C/ F -knop 3 ca. 5 seconden
lang ingedrukt te houden.

U kunt de weergave van het display 8 180
draaien door de -knop 4 en de M/°C/°F-
knop 3 tegelijk in te drukken (zie afb. B).

RESET-functie
Er kan een kalibratie worden gedaan als er
meteen na het inschakelen van het product
niet 0 0 op het display 8 wordt weergege-
ven. Open hiervoor het batterijvak-deksel 6
en druk met behulp van een puntig voorwerp
op de RESET-knop 5 aan de achterkant van
het product. Als de weergegeven meetwaarde
nog niet juist is, druk dan opnieuw op de
RESET-knop 5 om nogmaals te kalibreren.
Opmerking: verwijder de batterijen niet terwijl
u de RESET-functie gebruikt.

Reiniging en onderhoud

Let erop dat er geen vloeisto en in het

product terecht komen. Anders is er kans
op materiële schade.
Reinig het product alleen met een licht
vochtige doek en een mild afwasmiddel.

wijdering van de batterijen/accu‘s!

Batterijen/accu‘s mogen niet via het huisvuil

worden weggegooid. Ze kunnen giftige zware
metalen bevatten en vallen onder het chemisch
afval. De chemische symbolen van de zware
metalen zijn: Cd = cadmium, Hg = kwik, Pb =
lood. Geef verbruikte batterijen/accu‘s daa-
rom af bij een gemeentelijk inzamelpunt.

Garantie

Het product werd volgens strenge kwaliteits-

richtlijnen gemaakt en voor de uitlevering zorg-
vuldig gecontroleerd. In geval van materiaal- of
fabricagefouten hebt u tegenover de verkoper
van het product wetteli ke rechten Uw wette-
lijke rechten worden op geen enkele manier
door onze hieronder vermelde garantie beperkt.

De garantie voor dit product bedraagt 3 jaar
vanaf aankoopdatum. De garantieperiode gaat
in op de datum van aankoop. Bewaar het origi-

 Antes de la puesta en
funcionamiento

Antes de poner en funcionamiento el pro-

ducto retire la lámina de plástico de la
pantalla 8 e inserte las pilas suministradas.

Colocar/cambiar las pilas

Cuando en la pantalla 8 aparezca el indicador
de estado de batería ba o 11 , las pilas inserta-
das estarán casi agotadas y deberán cambiarse.
Las pilas gastadas pueden provocar valores
de medición erróneos.

Para colocar las pilas proceda del siguiente

modo:
Abra la tapa del compartimento de las
pilas 6 de la parte trasera del producto.
Retire las pilas usadas si fuese necesario.

Coloque 2 pilas LR03/AAA. Tenga en
cuenta la polaridad correcta.
Inserte las pilas en el compartimento de
las pilas 7 y cierre la tapa del comparti-
mento de las pilas 6 modo que encaje
haciendo clic.

tocar ning n otro botón

Puesta en funcionamiento

Si va a realizar la medición sobre una

Retire los restos h edos de la super cie
antes de proceder con la medición.
Mida en distintas zonas y calcule un valor
medio.
Tenga en cuenta que la salinidad aumenta
la conductividad del agua. Esto puede dar
resultados erróneos y demasiado altos.
Si fuese necesario, retire las cortezas de la
leña. Presione los sensores de medición
2 de forma transversal a la dirección de
la veta en distintas zonas de la madera.

Realizar medición
Pulse el botón 4 para encender el
producto. En la pantalla 8 aparecerá

Podrá leer los valores porcentuales tras
aprox. 1–2 segundos.
Si se encuentra en un lugar en el que no
puede leer la pantalla 8 , pulse el botón
4 para congelar la indicación de la
pantalla 8 . Entonces en la pantalla 8
aparecerá el sí bolo del candado 12 .
Vuelva a pulsar el botón 4 para
realizar otra medición.
Una vez haya realizado la edición apa-
gue el producto pulsando el botón

Nota: el producto se apaga automática-
mente cuando el producto no se utiliza
durante unos 60 segundos.

Indicación de estado

Si la carga de la pila es baja, en la pantalla 8

aparece la indicación de estado de batería
bajo 11 . Tenga en cuenta que con una pila
casi gastada los valores de medición pueden
ser erróneos o imprecisos. Cuando aparezca
este indicador, cambie las pilas lo antes posi-
ble. El cambio de las pilas se describe en el
capítulo Colocar/ca biar las pilas

Mantenga pulsado el botón M/°C/°F 3 unos
5 segundos para cambiar el indicador de tem-
peratura entre °C y °F.

Girar la pantalla de
visualización
Puede girar las indicaciones en la pantalla 8
en 180 pulsando la tecla 4 y la tecla
M/°C/°F 3 si ultánea ente ver g B

Función de reinicio
Es posible realizar un calibrado si justo al en-
cender el producto no aparece la indicación
0 0 en la pantalla 8 . Para ello, abra la tapa
del compartimento de las pilas 6 y pulse el
botón RESET 5 de la parte trasera del pro-
ducto utilizando un objeto puntiaguado. Si el
valor de edición ostrado a n no coincide
vuelva a pulsar el botón RESET 5 para calibrar
de nuevo.

Indsætning/skift af batterier

Hvis der i displayet 8 vises en lav batteritil-

stand 11 , er de indsatte batterier næsten tomme
og skal udskiftes. Tomme batterier kan forfalske
måleresultatet.

Batterierne indsættes på følgende måde:

Åbn låget til batterirummet 6 på produk-
tets bagside.
Fjern eventuelt de gamle batterier.
Indsæt 2 LR03/AAA-batterier. Vær opmærk-
som på den rigtige polaritet.

Indsæt batteriet i batterirummet 7 og luk
låget 6 igen, så du hører, at det klikker
på plads.
Bemærk: mens du isætter batterierne, må
kontakterne ikke betjenes.

Sæt efterfølgende beskyttelseshætten på

Batterivisning
Ved lav batteritilstand vises et symbol for lav
batteritilstand 11 i displayet 8 . Vær opmærk-
som på, at målinger ved lav batteritilstand er
forfalskede eller unøjagtige. Når dette symbol
vises, skal batteriet skiftes så hurtigt som mu-
ligt. Skift af batterier er beskrevet i kapitlet
„Indsætning/skift af batterier“.

Temperaturvisning
I temperaturvisningen kan der skiftes mellem
°C og °F, idet M/°C/°F-kontakten 3 trykkes
ned i ca. 5 sekunder.

RESET-funktion
En kalibrering kan gennemføres, hvis der lige
efter ibrugtagningen af produktet ikke vises
0,0% i displayet 8 . Åbn batterirumslåget 6
og tryk på RESET-knappen 5 på bagsiden af
produktet med en spids genstand. Hvis den
viste måling stadig ikke er rigtigt, tryk igen på
RESET-knappen 5 for at foretage en ny kali-
brering.
Bemærk: fjern ikke batterierne fra produktet,
når du anvender RESET-funktionen.

fugtet klud og tør dem efterfølgende af.
Kontrollér produktet inden hver anvendelse
for ydre, synlige skader.

Prima di mettere in funzione il prodotto ri-

tivo display 8 e inserire la batteria fornita
in dotazione.

Inserimento/sostituzione
delle batterie

Quando appare l‘indicatore di batteria quasi

scarica 11 sul display 8 , le batterie inserite
sono quasi scariche e devono essere

sostituite. Le batterie scariche possono alte-
rare il risultato di misura.

Per l‘inserimento delle batterie, procedere

come segue:
Aprire il coperchio del vano portabatterie
6 posto sul retro del prodotto.
Rimuovere le batterie vecchie.
Inserire 2 batterie LR03/AAA. Osservare la
polarità corretta.
Inserire le batterie nel vano batterie 7 e
richiudere il coperchio del vano batterie
6 in modo che si senta il suono dello
scatto in posizione.
Nota: è vietato premere qualsiasi altro
tasto quando si inseriscono le batterie.

Accertarsi che entrambi i sensori di misu-
razione 2 tocchino contemporaneamente
le super ci dei ateriali
In caso di super ci ruvide au entare
eventualmente la pressione dei sensori di
misurazione 2 .
In presenza di super ci sensibili eseguire
la misurazione in un punto al di fuori del
campo visivo.

sale rispetto alle direzione delle bre del

Eseguire la misurazione
Premere il tasto 4 per accendere il
prodotto. Sul display 8 appare ,
la temperatura ambiente in °C e il materiale
precedentemente selezionato 1–6 (vedi

Tenere premuto il tasto M/°C/°F 3 per
circa 5 secondi per cambiare la visualizza-
zione della temperatura tra °C ed °F.
Premere di nuovo il tasto M/°C/°F 3 per
impostare il misuratore in base al materiale

Visualizzazione della batteria

Se si ha un basso livello di carica della batteria,
sul display 8 appare l‘indicatore di batteria
quasi scarica 11 . Si prega di tenere presente
che in caso di un livello di carica basso della
batteria, i valori di misurazione sono scorretti
o imprecisi. Quando compare questo indica-
tore, sostituire le batterie il più rapidamente
possibile. La sostituzione delle batterie viene
descritto nel capitolo “Inserimento/sostituzione
delle batterie”.
