Compute Engine virtual machine instance.
k0 and
k1 from 'example-instance'
gcloud compute instances remove-labels example-instance --labels=k0,k1
Labels can be used to identify the instance and to filter them. To find a
instance labeled with key-value pair ,
k1v2
gcloud compute instances list --filter='labels.k1:v2'To list only the labels when describing a resource, use --format
gcloud compute instances describe example-instance --format='default(labels)'INSTANCE_NAME--all--labels=KEY,[KEY,…]--zone=ZONEgcloud attempts to identify the
appropriate zone by searching for resources in your currently active project. If
the zone cannot be determined, gcloud prompts you for a selection with
all available Google Cloud Platform zones.
To avoid prompting when this flag is omitted, the user can set the
property:
compute/zone
gcloud config set compute/zone ZONEA list of zones can be fetched by running:
gcloud compute zones listTo unset the property, run:
gcloud config unset compute/zoneCLOUDSDK_COMPUTE_ZONE.
