Dear TikTok and Customer Service/Support. Good day! As of Sunday, February 23rd, 2025 around 6 PM I was shocked that my Live feature got suspended and couldn’t use some of TikTok’s features anymore, this was because of an attempt to try monetizing my account through TikTok Marketplace Affiliate to help the growth of my account, and this past few days I have the ability to go Live and access features like shop, even a new feature called STEM which helps me in school as well, unfortunately I may have used a feature whereas my phone’s camera will tell my age based on my facial features, after submitting It it showed an error saying “Not over 18 years of age” which was unreal because I’m already 20 years old and turning 21 this upcoming June 4th.After this I received a mail notification saying “some features have been removed” and I did do noticed that I can no longer go Live and buy through TikTok shop platform which was sad because I have pending and upcoming Items that I will buy in my cart. As for the Live platform I’m starting to stream Live Gaming and starting to gain followers and viewers even made some friends unfortunately I cannot do that anymore. I spent hours making a live video to gain followers and viewers even started to make subscription members to have privileges for my followers, I got curious and might have tapped something I shouldn’t have been. Please help me bring back the Live option as well as the features that I originally have, I already have them on my account for such a long time and I only have this time to use them at the right way, I also have friends in this application sharing videos all the time and having a conversation. I cannot bear to watch my account go to waste and frozen in time. I have been using them app for such a long time and never have been encountered any issues not even break the community guidelines intentionally.

I am going to be completely honest, this app is amazing—a day would not be complete without a single scroll on this app, I am able to interact with people who have the same interests and create friends from all over the globe. Despite all these nice things on this app, I have one problem. I mysteriously lost my account about a 2-3 years ago, and without the TikTok email help center we can contact, I can not explain my situation properly because the TikTok Tako does not have the ability to understand my situation and continuously gives the same answer even if I had asked for an alternative option. Today, my main account got banned, which was okay with me—I admit that I have broken some rules in the community guidelines. But, another account of mine which has no violations got logged-out. To be clear, the logged-out account is a different account from the one that had gotten banned. I have no access with my phone number and my email, but I have the password. I had recently broken my other phone, which is the reason I am not able to use the number and phone number. I request that you bring back the TikTok email where users of the app are properly assisted without getting the same response that had clearly not worked. Fix your system.

This is my most negative review I have wrote because it boils my blood about all the issues I found here. First off, your platform has absolutely terrible moderation. I have a friend who saw someone posting fried semen, and ate it. It’s the most disgusting thing my friend has seen. He reported it and guess what, it has no violation at all. Another thing I want to point out is that most of the registered users are LITERALLY UNDER 13, and your moderation is so slow at responding these that they can be on TikTok for more than a year without being suspected as an underage user. Second, most of the users on the platform is absolutely disrespectful. There are racist people, homophobic people, pedophiles, zoophiles, targeted hate, etc. And most of the time these people can get away with it, which is very disappointing considering how this is #1 in Entertainment. Lastly, most videos that are placed under review don't go through (even if it doesn’t break your rules), and some that has broke your Terms of Service got past through. Although I like the idea of placing videos under review just like what Roblox is doing, this is poorly executed. Imagine you’re in a situation where someone got exposed to adult content because a video found a loophole to sneak under your radar. This shows how lax your moderation team is, and just outrageous.It’s sad that you’re taking this route instead of addressing the criticism that lots of people ranted out every single day. All of these fit within a niche 1 star review that views all critics you would easily let it slide. Do better.
